Introduction
NEAR Protocol support inside Metamask Snap is launching in January 2024. Snap is a special application that allows users to make NEAR transactions inside a Metamask wallet. This strategic move aims to provide users with seamless Metamask login capabilities while opening new avenues for user engagement.
Metamask can also be connected to an existing account to securely and conveniently sign transactions on the web.
HERE Wallet was also involved in the development of the web interface for Metamask Snap: https://my.herewallet.app.
Idea
Conduct a campaign to promote Metamask Snap with airdrop of 25000 Meta-NEAR NFTs. They will go to the first users who create a NEAR account with Metamask.
Similar campaign for Zerion wallet attracted more than 50k users.
