[PROPOSAL] MagicPoweredDAO - Secondary NFT Marketplace design and dev

Target:

To create a secondary marketplace for the NEAR community to list, trade, buy and sell their NFTs on. The functionality will be very similar to Opensea.

Total Requested Funding Amount:

$85,000 in NEAR

Projects & Timelines:

  • Design & frontend build-
    • Staffing – 1 lead designer, 2 senior designers (both 50-60%), 1 frontend dev, 1 full stack dev (50%), 1 QA engineer (33%) and 1 Business analyst (33%)
    • Timeline – 2 months
    • Budget - $35,000
  • Smart Contract build –
    • Staffing – 2 SC devs, 1 frontend dev (50%), 1 backend dev (50%), Business Analyst (30%), QA automation eng (70%), Manual QA eng (50%)
    • Timeline – 2 months
    • Budget - $42,000
  • Integrations & bug fix -
    • Staffing – 1 Full stack dev, 1 frontend dev (50%), 1 QA automation eng, 1 QA Engineer (50%), 1 Business Analyst (30%)
    • Timeline – 3 weeks
    • Budget - $8000

Anything else the Creatives DAO Council should know?

Below is the functionality that will be part of the secondary marketplace:

  • Aggregate profile – view all NFTs associated with a near address (Next phase will include a “gallery view which a user will be able to showcase their NFTs to others)
  • List for auction – list an NFT for a timed auction
  • Buy & Sell – Buy and Sell NFTs either through auctions of direct purchase
  • Send & Trade – trading or sending NFTs between multiple parties, this FUNCTIONALITY IS BEING EXPLORED

Hey there,

This looks like an awesome idea. As @frnvpr mentioned, the Creatives DAO only funds smaller amounts (max. 5k $ per month) so the grant would be a nice option :slight_smile:
