In the attempt to generate our own business model. VN Artists DAO will open a NEAR local swag store for events in Vietnam and Asia area.
Rationale:
Current NEAR swag store is the official place for event organizers to buy swag for attendants, however if VAD open a NEAR local swag store, we can:
- Diversify the samples of swag with more type & designs
- Produce with cheaper producing cost (due to the average labor rate in Vietnam is lower)
- Simplify in delivering swags for events in Vietnam & Asia => Reduce shipping cost & waiting time
- Combine local culture & art with NEAR brand in our swags → (unique & collectible)

Expected outcomes:
- To have a trusted store that can produce quality swags for NEAR events in Vietnam & Asia
- To embrace local culture in combination with NEAR brand
- To generate income for future activities of VAD
- This proposal is for producing prototype only, event organizers must order in advance to receive swags.

(*) The producing cost is the estimated pool for 10 types of prototype, a detailed report about actual cost will be made after the project is completed. For now, there’s some kind of swag that need to be ordered at a minimum amount of X items to be produced in our own design.
Notes:
- No cost for researching producing places
- No cost for finding good material/factory/supplier
- No travel cost/shipping cost
- No cost for labor involved in the work - those will be done by councils and from the help of some active members that we have in the DAO
