Project: NFT Stories of Unhoused Leaders
Concept : Create Portraits > NFT’s of Unhoused Leaders with accompanying audio that tells their unique story. We would educate these leaders on Web3 and Blockchain technology and create NEAR Wallet’s for each person featured. Their portrait and audio story would be minted on Mintbase and would become the first pieces in a gallery that we hope to expand to feature more leaders in the future.
The Unhoused community is not only traditionally marginalized from the fiat banking system but is underrepresented in the growing world of Web3. We intend to create a pathway for people to enter this world. Many of the leaders we hope to feature don’t even have traditional bank accounts.
Project Status: newly created DAO’s first PROPOSAL, initial project
I will employ the following steps:
(1). Identify participants and educate them on blockchain / NEAR
(2). Photograph participants / edit portraits
(3). Record Audio Story / Edit audio story
(4). Create NEAR Wallets for participants and send them an activation token of 0.1N to enable the wallet to be active.
(5). Create an EFAM Mintbase store.
(6). Mint NFT’s in EFAM Mintbase store ensuring that active transactions initiate in their newly created NEAR Wallets. Teach this process so they can create more themselves.
Budget:
$300 - Photography : Shooting / Editing (2-4 leaders profiled)
$300 - Audio Recording / editing
$200 - Wallet Onboarding for featured leaders (to implement and teach)
$200 - NFT minting / Mintbase Gallery Creation (to implement and teach)
$400 - Participation Stipend for unhoused resident leaders (split between 2-4 leaders)
