EXPANDED : NFT Stories of Unhoused Leaders
Project Status: ONGOING : newly created DAO’s second PROPOSAL, expanded initial project
I will employ the following steps:
(1). Identify participants and educate them on blockchain / NEAR
(2). Photograph minimum 5 additional participants / edit portraits of new participants
(3). Record Audio Story / Edit audio story
(4). Create NEAR.Wallets for participants and send them an activation token of 0.1N to enable the wallet to be active.
(5). Mint NFT’s in NEAR with the C1 Mintbase store ensuring that active transactions initiate in their newly created NEAR.Wallets. Teach the process so they can create more themselves.
(6). Encouraging the newly onboarded users to begin using the forum so they can learn more and begin participating actively in the community.

$600 Photography : Shooting / Editing (2-4 leaders profiled)
$500 Audio Recording / editing
$1700 Replacement Laptop for editing audio/video content and resource management
$1200 Participation Stipend for unhoused resident leaders
Project Timeline:
We intend to implement this project within the month. ( And wrap up the previous month’s project alongside the new participants).
Highlights:
When the unhoused residents we work with learned about this project many were excited to participate - to have their story told and enter the world of WEB 3.
We have decided to expand last month’s project to include the members of our nutrition, education and wellness class for unhoused people.

Next Steps:
Through this project we intend to take important steps of opening the door to blockchain to people who are left out of the traditional banking system and deliver them the tools to send and receive NEAR as the skills to create and MINT NFT’s. As well as find empowerment through the telling of their own unique narrative.
