[Proposal] Debates about Culture, Art and Technology (Academic Philosophy) [First Edition]

Objective

Our main goal is to support the culture of public debate in portuguese between academic philosophers. The debates will be about culture, art or technology.

History

Academic Philosophy is a channel about interviews and debates between academic philosophers. https://youtube.com/elanmarinho

We promote the culture of philosophical debate on topics that are of interest to everyone.

In only two years, the channel achieved:

  • more than 90,000 subscribers on youtube

  • more than 14,000,000 views

  • more than 300 videos

  • more than 15,000 followers on facebook page

The channel also has a facebook page with more than 15,000 likes. There, we published many philosophy memes that went viral all over the world.

  4. @elanmarinho post the 11 NFT meme philosophy links in the proposal (50 copies each, half for the DAO, with royalties and revenues divided between @elanmarinho and the DAO)
  5. The first debater posts his new near wallet on the proposal and his minted NFT meme philosophy link (50 copies each, half for the DAO, with royalties and revenues divided between the first debater and the DAO).
  6. The second debater posts his new near wallet on the proposal and his minted NFT meme philosophy link (50 copies each, half for the DAO, with royalties and revenues divided between the second debater and the DAO).
  7. The third debater posts his new near wallet on the proposal and his minted NFT meme philosophy link (50 copies each, half for the DAO, with royalties and revenues divided between the third debater and the DAO).
  8. The fourth debater posts his new near wallet on the proposal and his minted NFT meme philosophy link (50 copies each, half for the DAO, with royalties and revenues divided between the fourth debater and the DAO).

Observations:

  • During the stream, I will say that the first 20 people to sign the attendance google form will have a right to get 1 copy of NFT philosophy meme.
  • During the videos, I will talk about DAO and NEAR and I will indicate the website to make the wallet and to meet NFTs, as well as the telegram of our DAO, so that other people can board our community.

Benefit/Justification

This project is essential for the following reasons:

  1. it makes debates accessible worldwide and in the web 3;

  2. it promotes a public place for the discussion of cultural questions and it makes these discussions to become NFT;

  3. it popularizes debates about philosophy, culture, art and technology;

  4. publicizes activities of philosophers on NEAR blockchain debating about culture, art and technology.

  5. help us spread the NEAR ecosystem, and significantly increase the number of onboarding and NFTs.

Timeline

  • Week1: Set schedule, contact the speakers, make social media art

  • Week2: Share and invite public

  • Week3: upload, mint and share

  • Week4: upload, mint, share and report.

Budget

  • USD 150 in NEAR or DAI (whichever is more convenient for DAO) for: organization the live, call for philosophers, recording of the livestream, video editing, the pre-and post-production process, hosting etc.
    (The amount will only be received when the milestones 1 and 2 are is achieved)

  • USD 150 in NEAR or DAI (whichever is more convenient for DAO) for: meme production, minting NFTs, dissemination, reporting etc.
    (The amount will only be received when the milestones 3 and 4 are is achieved)

  • USD 50 in NEAR or DAI (whichever is more convenient for DAO) for the first debater.
    (The amount will only be received when the milestone 5 is achieved)

  • USD 50 in NEAR or DAI (whichever is more convenient for DAO) for the second debater.
    (The amount will only be received when the milestone 6 is achieved)

  • USD 50 in NEAR or DAI (whichever is more convenient for DAO) for the third debater.
    (The amount will only be received when the milestone 7 is achieved)

  • USD 50 in NEAR or DAI (whichever is more convenient for DAO) for the fourth debater.
    (The amount will only be received when the milestone 8 is achieved)

Subtotal: 500 USD

  • Uma primeira sugestao seria utilizar os meme-NFTs que vocĂȘ vai fazer para distribuir para a audiĂȘncia, conseguindo assim que as pessoas premiadas abram sua carteira, por conseguinte aumentando o nĂșmero de onboardings do seu programa.

  • Outra sugestao seria, alĂ©m de embarcar os debatedores na NEAR, embarcĂĄ-los tambĂ©m em nossa DAO, no grupo Community. Aos poucos, os embarcados poderao entender o ecossistema e comecar a participar das nossas votacoes e atividades. Aqueles que estiverem mais ativos poderao tambĂ©m passar ao grupo dos membros.

  • Como os Creatives sao projetos para finalidades criativas, artĂ­sticas e culturais, eu sugeriria que o enfoque das suas entrevistas seja sempre uma conexao entre filosofia e arte, filosofia e cultura, e filosofia e tecnologia (web3, blockchain, nft, metaverso).

  • TambĂ©m te pediria para falar sobre a DAO e sobre a NEAR durante o programa, indicar o site para fazer a carteira e para conhecer NFTs, tal como tambĂ©m o telegram da nossa DAO, a fim de que outras pessoas possam embarcar na nossa comunidade. Entao precisamos embarcar: na carteira, no fĂłrum, no telegram e no astrodao.

  • VocĂȘ tambĂ©m poderia pensar seus produtos como milestones do seu projeto. Quando vc entregar os 4 videos publicados, 10 memes, 5 NFTs sobre o debate, e fizer seu relatĂłrio, adicionando pelo menos os 4 onboardings dos debatedores e, se possĂ­vel, mais onboardings da audiĂȘncia, isso seria bastante interessante.

  • Os benefĂ­cios mais importantes para vocĂȘ colocar no projeto sao os benefĂ­cios para a comunidade NEAR, tanto para sua manutencao quanto para sua expansao. E lembre-se que a expansao da comunidade acontece pela entrada de pessoas ativas na comunidade (pelo menos uma atividade na blockchain por semana): Entao se vocĂȘ pudesse mintar os vĂ­deos semanalmente, isso ajudaria bastante na contagem da atividade pessoal na blockchain. E se as pessoas embarcadas pudessem ser estimuladas a produzir e enviar NFTs para outras pessoas da comunidade, isso seria ainda melhor. Acho que vale a pena ter isso em conta na hora da producao ou edicao do projeto. Entao a justificativa principal do seu projeto seria adequada de ser em termos de expansao da comunidade near de filĂłsofos discutindo assuntos culturais e artĂ­sticos, aprimorando a reflexao artĂ­stica, cultural e filosĂłfica, e mintando e entrando no ecossistema.

VocĂȘ teria como levar isso em consideracao na edicao do seu projeto?

Sobre prometer distribuir NFTs para a audiĂȘncia, sem problema. Os debates costumam ter uma lista de presença. Eu direi em live que as 20 primeiras pessoas a assinarem a lista de presença terĂŁo direito a ganhar um 1 cĂłpia de meme NFT de Filosofia.
