Objective

Aeon Studios builds games for gamers by gamers - we do not believe in barriers to entry and aim to create accessible games for all players. Our premiere blockchain game - BrawlBots - will be a cross-platform PC/Mobile title built on Unreal Engine. It will be easy to get into, but hard to master. BrawlBots allows players to collect, build and customize their own NFT fighting robots (BrawlBots) to destroy other players in solo and team battles or participate in Aeon Studios’ own Esports tournaments to receive their share of tokens!

Aeon Studios integration in the NEAR ecosystem:

BrawlBots is being made with the gamer in mind. To that end, we require three key factors for the best experience: ultra-fast transaction speeds, low transaction fees, and interoperability. We believe and choose NEAR protocol to be the foundation for BrawlBots and all future Aeon Studios’ games.

  1. Make use of the NFT tools available from Mintbase for the initial coding and launch of BrawlBots’ genesis NFT collection.
  2. Launch BrawlBots’ NFT collection on the Paras marketplace for maximum exposure within the NEAR ecosystem.
  3. Fully integrate BrawlBot’s $BBOT and $COGS tokens into the NEAR Protocol Wallet.
  4. Later collaborations would be with Aurora and Octopus Network for multichain support into Ethereum, Solana and potentially Polkadot and Cosmos.
  5. BrawlBots’ will accept NEAR tokens from players/guilds to purchase lootboxes. We believe this will be allow easier onboarding for users in the NEAR ecosystem.
  6. BrawlBots’ NFT lease/rent marketplace allow users to use NEAR tokens as an option

We also strongly believe in choosing carbon-neutral options when possible.

Free-to-Play and Play-to-Earn

There’s no need for any significant investment to play BrawlBots. It’s being created to allow any one person to easily hop in the game and start playing and earning.

Each BrawlBot will be able to use different NFTs to cater to all types of play styles. You want to be an up close and personal BrawlBot destroyer? No problem! Blast your opponent from a distance? Can do!

  • Countless Brawlbot combinations depending on player’s preference or team compositions
  • Solo, Team, Free-for-All, Objective game modes
  • Find rarer NFTs for BrawlBots through lootboxes
  • NFTs affect in-game performances and earning potential
  • Earn through winning, leasing, staking and land ownership

GAMEPLAY

BrawlBots is a fast-paced action game where users prepare a BrawlBot and fight it out in the various unique arenas. While some BrawlBots can be stronger than others, everything is obtainable either by spending time or by spending money. But having a stronger BrawlBot does not necessarily guarantees that player will win - ultimately the better controlled BrawlBot will win.

Battles are played either Solo or Team vs. Team, with random opponents and teammates of an appropriate rating. Elo rating system is used as a measure.

Each match has a time limit of 3:00. Ranked battles will be Best-of-3.

The construction and customization of BrawlBots is a crucial aspect for players to understand and master. Buying rare parts to upgrade the BrawlBot-type that the player is most comfortable playing with is always advised.

GAME MECHANICS

BrawlBots

BrawlBots are all customizable with different, attachable NFTs. A BrawlBot’s strength is determined by the rarity of the parts - weapon strength (damage done), movement type (movement speed), body material (reduced damage), and damage type (armor penetrating, explosive etc…).

Lootboxes

The primary mechanic to discover new NFTs is through opening lootboxes. BrawlBots has two distinct lootboxes - BBOT Boxes and COGS Boxes. BBOT Boxes are premium lootboxes bought with the governance token, $BBOT, and COGS Boxes are bought with the utility token, $COGS.

No matter what lootbox is opened, there is always the chance of getting the rarest NFT that exist. However, the premium lootboxes will always have much better odds!

Leasing

NFTs have different rarities and skins, translating to different in-game qualities. Some may give additional boosts in power and speed while others may give higher earning potential. Gamers don’t always like to change their play style, so implementing a leasing system will greatly owners that have NFTs collecting dust.

Maintenance

Like all machines, BrawlBots will eventually deteriorate and become inoperable after they have used up its Battle Power. Each BrawlBot will have varying amounts of Battle Power depending on the rarity of the NFTs used.

In order to fix the parts, they must be sent to the Workshop!

Workshops

Workshops are our land NFTs and are owned entirely by participants of the BrawlBots ecosystem. Workshops will be tiered and have different tools and equipment, leading the quality of repair that is completed.

Workshop owners receive payment for the maintenance on the NFTs.

ESPORTS

We at Aeon Studios have years of experience operating, showcasing and winning within Esports. Our deep understanding and extensive experience of Esports allows us to create and master the coming wave “compete-to-earn” games.

BrawlBots is designed to keep pushing players to their limit and beyond to get better at the game, with this talent ultimately showcased in tournaments and leagues. The more time players spend mastering their skills in game, the more they can earn!

TOKENOMICS
BrawlBots will utilize a dual token ecosystem - $BBOT and $COGS.

$BBOT

$BBOT is a limited supply governance token that can be bought or earned through special events, Esports, tournaments, and staking.

Staking $BBOT allows holders to be part of the BBOT Club Membership, which is for:

  • Governance (game design, treasury oversight, NFT voting)
  • Special Dividends and NFTs
  • Community Council
  • VIP Access
  • Staking Rewards

$COGS

$COGS is an unlimited supply utility token, which is the primary token rewarded to BrawlBots’ participants and is intended to be used within the ecosystem for:
