I’m shola sparks @sholasparks a creative arts director and I’m pleased to introduce this awesome initiative which was discussed in our community to be held this month.
Introduction:
BATTLE OF THE MULTIVERSE which is a first in its series, this event will bring the best of art in dance as dancers from all round Lagos come together to compete on fair grounds against each other, displaying excellent craftsmanship in dance. This is to be theme The War Dance which will be aimed at the carnal expressions of the average African youth
Process:
For this event, E-Banners inviting dancers from all around Lagos will be created to advertise the event, An event hall will be booked along with gear for filming. A signup page will be set up on blaqkstereo.com for dancers to signup ahead of the event.
We will be working with indigenous conceptual makeup artist to create beautiful facial paintings each being a unique design.
Facial portrait Pictures will be taken of each dance artist by indigenous photographer and minted to Blaqk stereo Mintbase store.
A 10 secs loop of the dance performances as well as the winning dance will also be minted to the store.

Additional cost were incurred and as a result 2nd Runner up cost had to be converted to cover cost for logistics, competition host and lighting and sound.
