Music video project | REBELWISE DAO | Land Back

Peace Creatives!
We are REBELWISE DAO → Introduction

Last month, we successfully completed our 7th official REBELWISE music video, Warrior Vow. This is the last music video of our debut album and we already have been working on our follow-up album, looking to continue to build on our momentum, reach wider audiences and continue to carve our lane as the first worldwide urban medicine-music artist collective.

Our first single of our next album is a music video release called Land Back, featuring @Ashelseasunz, Desirae Harp and Quincy Davis of Rebelwise. This track includes vocals by Desirae Harp singing in the Ohlone language (indigenous people of the Bay Area, California).

The song’s hook calls to Rematriate the Land, to restore a people to their rightful place in sacred relationship with their ancestral land.

This song is an anthem dedicated to the worldwide Indigenous-led movements of “Land Back”, a term that applies to various aspects related to reclaiming land sovereignty and honor the cultural wisdom lineages that carry the wisdom of living in relationship with the land and carry keys for healthy community and balanced way of life. We intend for this to be a celebration and raise awareness as humanity c awakening process to recognize our choice to change course, and transition out of extraction-based economies to living in relationship with the land, each other, and the elements of life.

This video was created in collaboration with our project partners, Sogorea Te’ Land Trust – an urban Indigenous women-led land trust that facilitates the return of Indigenous land to Indigenous people.

In addition to being an enjoyable song and video, this project will raise awareness specifically for the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust cause and at the end of the video, we will point audiences to their website with ways they can support or donate.

We believe this project speaks to a deeper truth, tapping into the undercurrent of the collective consciousness of humanity, and this project will bring people together with aligned intentions, for a better world.

We are bridging worlds of the ancient and future, with a through-line of sovereignty and indigenous values. As proud community members of NEAR, we are excited to share, engage, collaborate and continue forward with our release goals. Peace and one love :blue_heart: :fire:
