We’re closing out May on a high note! This month was all about deepening community connections, celebrating milestones, and sparking conversations, both online and on the ground. Whether it was through governance workshops, IRL sessions, or a deliciously themed Bitcoin Pizza Party, Meta Pool’s presence continues to grow across the Philippines and beyond. Here’s how I contributed to that journey:
1 In-Person Meet-up
Sit, Talk, Build: Exploring Meta Pool Node Studio
We gathered in person with the Filipino youth group GIAs to dive into the Meta Pool Node Studio initiative. It was an inspiring session filled with brainstorming and energy around building infrastructure and awareness for Web3 in the Philippines.
3 Twitter Spaces
Monthly Rewards Distribution by Meta Pool – We unpacked how rewards circulate within the Meta Pool ecosystem. With 68 listeners, it was both insightful and engaging.
Meta Pool Rundown: Latest Hype & Highlights – A lively session with 46 listeners diving into the most recent Meta Pool updates.
Slices & Sats: Bitcoin Pizza Party – In collaboration with the Meta Pool Ladies, we celebrated Bitcoin Pizza Day with 59 attendees, Web3 banter, and some cheesy (but fun) analogies!
3 Online Workshops
Participating in Meta Pool Governance and Earning Rewards: Series 1 & 2 – These back-to-back workshops guided attendees through Meta Pool’s governance tools and how to earn while engaging.

1 Regional AMA – Philippines Channel
Together with fellow Meta Pool Ambassador Christine and community moderator GemOfMarch, we co-hosted a Regional AMA in the official Meta Pool Telegram channel. We tackled community questions, shared updates, and strengthened our Filipino Web3 presence.
May was all about seeing Meta Pool’s awesome initiatives come to life, with new proposals helping the ecosystem grow. Hey June, I’ve got a good feeling—it’s gonna be another great month for us Meta Poolers!
