We are glad to announce the activities made by Meta Pool in the Philippines during the last month.
This report highlights our initiatives aimed at growing the Meta Pool community, fostering collaboration, and promoting Web3 education across the country.
3 Build Buddies Coffee Meetup Hosted in Manila, Philippines and
1 in Baguio, Philippines
The gatherings were held at local cafes around the city, where attendees had the chance to learn more about liquid staking, how Meta Pool works, and explore real-world applications of Web3 in the Philippine context.
The most important highlight was the emphasis on education—introducing new builders to staking solutions on NEAR and empowering them to deepen their understanding of decentralized technologies.
We had the presence of local developers, student leaders, and Web3 community members who actively engaged in the discussions, asked questions, and shared their own experiences in the ecosystem.
We partnered with ICP Hub Philippines and Core DAO Philippines.
1 Online workshop was hosted via zoom
In collaboration with the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators, we taught students about liquid staking as well as different opportunities in Meta Pool such as the MPDAO Season 12 grants and the scholarship. The workshop was attended by 32 participants
1 speaking engagement at the City College of Angeles
We were invited to speak at the She is Devcon attended by students from different IT-related courses. We continued to promote the grants and scholarship programs.
We continuously promoted the grants and scholarship program on Twitter.
