G. History of Governance Participation (in NEAR or other ecosystems):
As a contributor to POTLOCK, I’ve been involved in developing community funding platforms that have directly impacted the NEAR ecosystem’s development. I’ve actively participated in in multiple ecosystem bringing a cross-chain perspective that values pragmatic solutions and community empowerment. My approach to governance is shaped by my experience managing engineering teams and coordinating stakeholders across different projects.
H. Top 3 Priorities for the NEAR Ecosystem:
- Revenue-Generating Applications & Liquidity: Prioritize the development of applications that generate actual revenue and enhance the liquidity flywheel. I will advocate for initiatives that attract assets to NEAR through practical chain abstraction tools and improved cross-chain functionality.
- Developer Ecosystem Diversification: Address the current lack of grassroots developers by fostering a more inclusive, fun culture that attracts global talent, particularly from underrepresented regions like Asia. I will push for initiatives that break vendor lock-in and promote healthy competition.
- Rapid MVP Development & Capital Efficiency: Accelerate ecosystem growth through a capital-efficient approach to building MVPs that can quickly demonstrate value, generate revenue, and attract external capital. Focus on practical applications in emerging narratives: government finance, stablecoin applications, and consumer crypto.
I. Reasoning for any past votes in the NEAR Ecosystem:
[Will be completed if applicable based on previous governance participation]
J. Conflicts of Interest:
As a developer actively building on NEAR, I have a vested interest in the ecosystem’s success through my projects including Claim Protocol and my contributions to Potlock. However, this alignment incentivizes me to prioritize the long-term health of the ecosystem over short-term gains for any single project. I commit to full transparency about my involvement in any projects that may be affected by governance decisions.
K. Answer Hypothetical Delegate Scenario:
Regarding the three proposals:
Additional information needed:
For Proposal 1 (DeFi incentives):
- Specific protocols being considered and their current TVL, user metrics, and revenue models
- Duration and structure of incentives (direct rewards, rebates, etc.)
- Success metrics and exit strategy to ensure sustainable growth post-incentives
For Proposal 2 (Marketing subcommittee):
- Composition of the proposed subcommittee and required expertise
- Budget allocation and expected ROI metrics
- Specific target developer communities and user segments
- Coordination plan with existing NEAR marketing initiatives
For Proposal 3 (Protocol-Owned Liquidity):
- Risk assessment and management strategy
- Capital allocation limits and rebalancing methodology
- Revenue generation model and distribution plan
- Governance controls for managing the liquidity positions
Key metrics I would evaluate:
- Direct correlation between initiatives and NEAR token price movements
- Marketing effectiveness in driving inbound liquidity, not just user acquisition
- Size of wallet balances using a data-driven approach
- Success in mapping balances from other chains and actively funneling capital
- Capture rate of users genuinely using NEAR protocols, not just through abstraction layers
- Inbound liquidity and high-value asset generation actions:
- Token minting frequency and volume
- NFT trading activity
- User experimentation with new projects
- Developer retention and quality of projects launched
My voting approach:
I would likely support a hybrid approach that incorporates elements from all three proposals, but with strict accountability measures:
For Proposal 1: Support with time-bound incentives tied to clear performance metrics that demonstrate actual user growth, not just token farming.
For Proposal 2: Support with the condition that the subcommittee includes diverse representation (especially from Asia) and focuses on concrete deliverables rather than marketing without substance.
For Proposal 3: Support a cautious initial implementation with strict risk parameters, focusing on protocols that demonstrate genuine utility and revenue generation rather than pure speculation.
My ultimate voting decision would prioritize initiatives that show the clearest path to sustainable revenue generation and ecosystem growth, with preference for approaches that empower grassroots developers and bring new talent to NEAR.
L. What is your motivation for becoming a NEAR delegate?
My motivation stems from recognizing that NEAR is at a critical inflection point. Currently, only a few applications are sustaining the ecosystem, the developer culture is stagnating, and growth is stifled. Most projects are no longer native to NEAR, and there’s a concerning lack of engaging activities for users. Although the liquidity flywheel initiative is promising, it ultimately cannot succeed without a robust ecosystem of applications and well-funded teams building on NEAR.
I’m becoming a delegate to help make NEAR the number one blockchain for onboarding the masses, not to regurgitate top-down narratives. We are not simply a bridge company or an AI hub – we are the most performant blockchain built specifically for mass adoption. My unique combination of experiences – working across different chains, researching AI agents, contributing to open-source public goods, and applying a growth-hacking mindset – positions me perfectly for this role.
As one of the few engineers representing Asia, specifically Vietnam, I bring a genuinely underrepresented perspective to governance. I’ve observed a concerning trend of professional delegates who lack deep understanding of NEAR’s technology and ecosystem needs. My approach is fundamentally builder-focused – prioritizing rapid MVPs, capital efficiency, and creating an engaging culture that attracts diverse developers who can build applications that users actually want to use.
M. Anticipated delegation support (if applicable):
As an active builder in the NEAR Vietnam community, I anticipate support from regional stakeholders and developers who share my vision for practical ecosystem growth. I also expect support from collaborators across projects I’ve contributed to, including Potlock and BluntDAO communities. While I don’t have large pre-committed delegations, my strength comes from representing grassroots builders and developers who want to see NEAR succeed through practical application development rather than bureaucratic processes.
2. Self-Assessment Criteria
A. Experience (2/2)
I bring extensive, relevant experience as both a technical developer and project founder. My work spans smart contract development, cross-chain integration, wallet creation, and AI framework implementation. I’ve built Drop Wallet (NEAR’s first Telegram wallet), contributed to Potlock, and developed AIPGF framework winning multiple hackathons. My current work on Claim Protocol with zkTLS technology demonstrates continued innovation within the ecosystem.
B. Diversity of Perspective (2/2)
As one of the only engineers representing Asia from Vietnam, I bring a genuinely unique perspective to the House of Stake. My cross-ecosystem experience (NEAR, EVM chains, Solana, Sui) provides valuable insights into competitive advantages and integration opportunities. My focus on rapid MVP development and capital efficiency contrasts with many delegates’ theoretical approaches, bringing practical builder sensibilities to governance.
C. Alignment with NEAR Ecosystem (2/2)
My alignment with NEAR is demonstrated through years of active building directly on the platform, from BOS Hacks participation to creating multiple applications in the ecosystem. As a founder building Claim Protocol on NEAR and having contributed to numerous NEAR projects including Potlock and BluntDAO, my success is directly tied to NEAR’s growth. My commitment to explore NEAR Intents and chain abstraction further demonstrates my long-term investment in the ecosystem’s evolution.
D. Governance Engagement (1/2)
While I haven’t directly participated in governance votes, my contribution to the ecosystem has been through building tools that streamline funding options. As a contributor/contractor to POTLOCK, I’ve helped create infrastructure that supports public goods funding rather than participating in the decision-making process itself. My practical governance experience comes from coordinating stakeholders across projects and managing engineering teams to deliver value. My approach to governance focuses on pragmatic solutions that empower builders rather than theoretical frameworks.
E. Conflicts of Interest (1/2)
As a contributor/contractor who freely contributes to multiple NEAR projects including Claim Protocol, I have minimal direct conflicts of interest. I’m not tied to any single entity in a way that would compromise my decision-making. However, I will maintain complete transparency and abstain from voting on any decisions directly involving projects I’ve contributed to. I’m constantly committed to contributing to MIT open source and prioritizing the ecosystem’s long-term health over any individual project’s interests. This independent position allows me to evaluate proposals objectively based on their merit for the entire ecosystem.
3. Conclusion
The NEAR ecosystem stands at a critical juncture requiring delegates who understand both the technical underpinnings of the platform and the practical challenges facing builders. My experience spans development, integration, community building, and cross-chain innovation, positioning me to advocate for initiatives that will drive meaningful adoption.
I bring a unique perspective as a representative from Vietnam, with hands-on experience building applications that users actually want. My commitment to breaking vendor lock-in, fostering genuine competition, and creating an engaging developer culture will help address core challenges facing the ecosystem.
If selected as a delegate, I commit to maintaining over 95% voting participation, providing transparent reasoning for all votes, and actively working to bridge the gap between governance decisions and practical implementation. My focus will remain on supporting initiatives that generate revenue, attract liquidity, and position NEAR for sustainable growth in the competitive blockchain landscape.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve the NEAR community and help shape its future direction.
