Hello everyone, I’m Planeta. I’m happy to submit my application to participate in the House of Stake initiative. I’m open to communication and ready to answer any questions you may have. Perhaps you have some suggestions or requests for me? We have our own community on Near that supports us and consists of active users of the ecosystem. We run a news channel and a Telegram chat dedicated to discussions about Near…

History of Engagement with NEAR Protocol:
I have been an active user and participant in the ecosystem for over 4 years. I value NEAR for its developer-friendly platform, robust blockchain, fast transactions, and stability. As a community member, I deeply care about the protocol’s future growth and understand the needs of users across various domains.
Introducing delegate governance allows every user to contribute to the community’s development — a role I am eager to fulfill.
Governance Participation History (in NEAR or other ecosystems):
Alongside members of my community, I have participated in voting and discussions on the NEAR Forum and NDC. I’ve also engaged in DAO voting within the NEAR ecosystem. As a delegate, I aim to go beyond voting and actively contribute to the ecosystem’s growth.
Top 3 Priorities for the NEAR Ecosystem:
8.1 Building AI and Blockchain Technological Infrastructure
Develop a stable, flexible, and decentralized platform that integrates AI with blockchain. This requires:
Modernizing developer tools to enhance usability.
Increasing network speed to reduce data processing delays.
Ensuring cross-chain compatibility for seamless interoperability.
Goal: Simplify the creation of complex AI-blockchain projects and accelerate developer innovation.
8.2 Empowering Developers and Fostering Innovation
Create an environment where developers have everything they need:
Tools: Ready-to-use solutions (SDKs, APIs), templates, and guides.
Funding: Grants, investments, and incentives for startups.
Impact:
Users gain secure, cutting-edge solutions for everyday tasks.
Attract talent to build unique applications, strengthening NEAR’s ecosystem.
Developers innovate, users benefit — a win-win for all.
8.3 Creating User-Centric Applications
Focus on simple, practical apps that combine AI and blockchain to:
Solve real-world problems (e.g., secure data storage, task automation).
Be accessible to non-technical users.
How this attracts new users:
Word-of-mouth growth as users share features with friends.
Investor interest in popular apps will boost platform support.
Position NEAR as an innovation hub, attracting talent and companies.
Outcome: Modern tools for life and work, solidifying NEAR as a Web3 leader.
Simply put: More user-friendly apps = more users + exponential ecosystem growth.
Rationale for Past Voting in the NEAR Ecosystem:
My voting activity, like many others, represented the interests of users within the NDC framework.
Conflicts of Interest:
None. I am open to any questions, suggestions, or feedback.
- Hypothetical Delegation Scenarios:
What additional information do you need from participants to make an informed decision?
11.1 DeFi Incentives:
Target Audience: Who will use the product, and why is this important for the NEAR ecosystem?
Potential Risks (e.g., market volatility, technical vulnerabilities) and Mitigation Strategies.
Cross-ecosystem Collaboration: How will the project interact with other NEAR-based and external blockchain projects?
11.2 Marketing Subcommittee:
Concrete Steps: What specific actions will the subcommittee take to attract developers and users?
Success Metrics: How will effectiveness be measured? Examples: growth in active developers/users, new wallet creation, transaction volume.
11.3 Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL):
Key Metrics: What indicators will assess POL’s success, and how will its efficiency impact the ecosystem’s long-term sustainability?
Advantages Over Alternatives: Why is POL preferable to methods like third-party LP incentives?
Key Evaluation Criteria:
Ordinary Users: Prioritize proposals that benefit the majority within the ecosystem.
Risk Management: Asset diversification, hedging, dynamic management, real-time monitoring.
Interoperability: NEAR enables seamless interaction between projects internally and externally. Leverage ecosystem tools and bridges — more connections = greater product utility.
Proposed Solutions:
For Developers/Users: Host online events (hackathons, workshops, AMAs) to educate and gather feedback.
Transparency: Regular reports tracking active developers, user growth, and engagement metrics.
POL as a Strategic Asset: Strong POL performance strengthens NEAR’s foundation, attracting builders and users. It transforms liquidity into a long-term advantage, not a temporary fix.
- What is your motivation to become a NEAR delegate?
I believe in NEAR’s potential as a platform for Web3 and AI innovation. As a delegate, I will directly participate in decision-making to strengthen the technological foundation, attract developers, and enhance user experience.
NEAR is built on principles of openness and decentralized governance. My role as a delegate is to ensure the community’s voice is heard and that the ecosystem evolves without excessive centralization.
- Proposed Delegation Support (if applicable)
Delegation in NEAR is a tool that empowers even small token holders to participate in governance while keeping the network decentralized and resistant to manipulation. For example, if 1,000 small users delegate their tokens to 10 nodes, a large investor cannot impose their agenda.
Self-Assessment Criteria:
14. Self-Evaluation: 10/10
-
Experience: Rating 2/2 (4+ years in the ecosystem).
-
Diversity of Perspectives: 2/2. Each delegate will represent their unique viewpoint.
-
Alignment with the NEAR Ecosystem: 2/2. The delegate represents community interests and will remain an active ecosystem participant.
-
Governance Participation: 2/2. Rating 2: The delegate actively votes, engages in forum discussions, and participates in NEAR governance.
-
Conflicts of Interest: 2/2. Rating 2: Delegates will have no conflicts of interest, as their sole focus is NEAR’s growth.
Public Commitment
I accept the NEAR Delegate Code of Conduct and pledge to fully contribute to the success of the NEAR ecosystem.
Thank you for your consideration!
Best regards,
Planeta
