Hi fellow Nearians, @Princeps, the founder member of IPRS MVP, Poly186 DAO, and BLAH DAO
IPRS (Intellectual Properties Registry System) was created by the team of Poly186 and me out of the need for such a system to mint IPs and NFTs. The need arise from the fact that these processes were obscured in the past and limited the creative potential of the creator economy because of creators not being able to protect their work.
Our IPRS plays a vital role in Poly186’s vision of ushering in a utopian post-scarcity present. All sentient beings (sentient machines and humans) have their basic needs provided for by non-sentient machines. Non-sentient machines perform all the necessary tasks to extract, process, and utilize natural and artificial resources to create products and services that offer free ubiquitous access to basic needs; Food, Infrastructure, Energy, and Knowledge.
Our solution to registering, monitoring, searching, and transferring intellectual properties utilizes emerging technologies, such as NFTs and AI, to improve existing inefficient processes. WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) has been actively researching and setting standards for the use of blockchain technologies for future registration of IPs, validating the position that the industry is shifting toward leveraging the countless benefits of utilizing emerging blockchain technologies to update existing outdated inefficient processes currently used by governments.
IPRS provides resources to everyone who wants to register patents, trademarks, copyrights, blueprints, schematics, and other intellectual properties into NFTs. Part of our vision is to establish physical Makerspaces, which are factories that use autonomous machines to refine and utilize natural or artificial resources to produce products and services needed to provide basic needs. By registering IPs using NFTs and expanding the capabilities of this technology, we can embed our smart contracts with the information and security needed for autonomous physical Makerspaces to produce goods.
Our Makerspaces work hand in hand with our Marketplaces and PolyOS, a network of platforms to establish an ecosystem of tools that empower our Producers and Consumers to exercise decisions that improve current living conditions and lay the foundation for building a post-scarcity, utopian reality. Our goal is to nurture a thriving community of creators who will collaborate to achieve a common collective goal that will benefit everyone.
