Collaboration between Young fresh Dao and Nxm Guild
Rap competition, Near education and physical meeting of Young fresh Dao and Nxm members in the ecosystem.
The primary aim of this competition is to connect artist in the community on a physical and deeper level, from my recent survey, I observed that about 60% of artist from Nxm community are based in Lagos, Nigeria which is where this competition will hold.
This competition will create a bond between artist in the community with entertainment and education from Proffersors from the near education Guild.
There will also be room for onboarding new creatives, and meeting them physically.
Breakdown of how the Competition will hold.
Entertainment phase:
This competition will be hosted in a very conducive indoor space, with good sounds, 1 Mc, 1 Dj, and a total of 20 selected rappers battling for the cash price.
Rappers will be selected from Young fresh and Nxm community members,and there will also be an open call on social media for more rappers.
There will be music performances from Nxm, and Youngfresh dao artist, and an open call for 3 artiste in the ecosystem that stay in lagos, Nigeria.
Educational phase:
There will be a 20minutes live zoom educational meeting with a projector by two Near leaders to educate the audience on the benefit of the web3 ecosystem and encourage them on why it’s important to be a part of the movement.

After the education there will be near drops for new nearareans.
Breakdown of budget for the competition:
Venue Hall:
1)
A small condusive hall with good sound and lights that can accommodate about 60 to 80 people : 200 dollars
Dj and Mc of the event :
The deejay will be involved in coordination of the music all through the event : 75 dollars
Mc : to coordinate the event and Rappers in the competition. 75dollars
4 ushers :coordinate the movement of people, properly arrange the venue, attend to all participants, record the data of all attendees and to also monitor the live zoom meeting with Proffersors : 25 dollars each :
100 dollars.
slot for 10 perfomances from musicians, comedians and dancers, 20 dollars each :
200 dollars.
Graphics design of artwork, near backdrop, and a big banner on stage: 80 dollars
printing of 2 banners : 50 dollars
printing of 10 Near and Young fresh Dao shirts that will be worn by ushers and crew :50 dollars.
Free near drops 100 dollars
video coverage , pictures and editing of content from the event: 200 dollars.
Event packager: will handle the total planning to pr to make sure the event is a successful one
