II. PROPOSAL FOCUS
OKR for the quarter: Our objectives for the quarter includes

To onboard 1000+ game players into the ecosystem through partnerships, education and contests.

Hold series of workshops to educate members about some games on Near/Aurora and how to play them. Educate members about BOS and Near ecosystem at large.
KPIs for April
- 50% increase across all social platforms added to what we will deliver in April
- 3 games to be engaged: we will choose a game for the week, teach members how to play, and then organize a contest to have members engage the games.
- 1000+ transactions from game playing and activities on Near social
- At least 2 partnerships with a bigger community
- 3 articles and 2 YouTube videos
- 50+ unique addresses , 7k impressions on X
Strategies to achieve above KPIs
- We will have workshops on 3 different games within the month and organize contests to make members engage
- Games contest amongst community members.
- Collaborations with off-chain web3/web2 communities to educate about gaming products on NEAR.
III. FUNDS
Funds required: $1400
- Marketing/partnership/onboarding: $450
This entails onboarding with keypom, promotion on our socials, giveaways and partnerships with two communities. The partnership will be initiated by hosting an AMA with the communities, enlightening them on what we stand, what they can benefit from GameFi and how games on Near can offer them these benefits
- Community engagement/Team: $700
This entails all activities we will be hosting in the community within the month. Activities include;
3 workshops (Practical demonstrations on how to play the game of the week): $60
4 internal AMAs (education on Near ecosystem and GameFi)
3 game contests: $60
3 Twitter/Near Social shilling contest: after each game review, members of the community will be asked to make a tweet/post on NS about what they learnt about the game and why they recommend the game to others, with key hashtags: $60
8 quizzes(4 on Near social and 4 on Mental Maze): $120
Meme contest: $50
Prediction contest: $30

IRL EVENT AND ONBOARDING EVENT
Hello Africa DAO community!
Introducing Near Africa GameFest; unleashing the ultimate gamer experience.
It’s been great what we all are doing within the community and from our end, we seek to grow further and have come up with this proposal for a Near blockchain event at Federal University, Dutse. This event aims to onboard students of the university and those around including those who are not exposed to GameFi nor the Near ecosystem yet, showcasing of gaming projects on Near and education about the ecosystem.

Title: Near Africa Gamers meetup

Location: Jigawa state, Nigeria
Sponsor: Near Africa DAO
Objectives:
- Onboard attendees into the ecosystem
- Education session on GameFi and the Near ecosystem at large to help them understand key features of Near and why Near is good for gaming
- Live showcasing/ Demo of gaming projects on Near.
Onboarding tools: we will be using meteor wallet for easy onboarding and ShardDog NFTs for merch/refreshment claims

RETENTION STRATEGY
- Continuous education of members
- More gaming contests and other contests to keep members engaged
- Game developers training for those that would like to go into game building

Venue rental including sound systems and projector: $300
Branded swags with Near/Near Africa gamers logo(Tshirts and P-caps 30 pieces each), flex banner and handbills: $350
Tips for ground workers from school during event(5 students): $100 ($20 each)
Transportation/accommodation of 3 team members: $500
Marketing of event by student influencers such as campus TVs: $100
Airdrops(using keypom) and giveaway(on Near social and gaming contests): $200
Refreshment for 200+ estimated attendees (water, soft drinks and snacks): $150
