April has started quite well with new communities coming in, and old communities returning to work due to the last funding round.

The following proposals were received and categorised into the following:

Despite these submissions, after due consideration based on track record, quality of the team, work done so far, the potential of the proposal, and alignment with Africa DAO guidelines, NDC and NEAR, the following proposals were approved.

Attached is the tier system for all African communities.

I would love to see a list of Github repos of the projects that the contributors in each of these organizations have built.

Thanks @Cameron for your interest.

Our last report was a mid-month report and all Communities are yet to finish their work for April.

Also, we just got funded for April and full repoa full report will be available with all Dev work.

However, tagging @ImmanuelNFT for some hints from the Ghana Build Challenge.

Great showing interest in the NEAR Ghana Builder Challenge. Building is still ongoing, and the deadline is tomorrow because we extended it bit. The repos will be submitted to you after the deadline. Thanks

I don’t see the value of $20,000 dollars here when I would rather use the money to invest in founders building businesses (ie: investing into Onihani or Near Fortune as some sort of convertible note tied to product milestones and growth metrics).

You need to understand that those products were built as a result of supporting Regional Communities (Hausa and Ghana).

This means the more support Regional Communities get, the more of those products will come to NEAR.

Check the amounts NEAR Hausa and NEAR Ghana were supported with, and compare it with if those products were to be funded primarily from scratch.
