According to the new [Announcement] Marketing DAO Resumes Operations and Guidelines for Assessment Marketing DAO Proposals and Value Community Memo: Values and Focus we would like to conduct a proposal for NEAR Vietnam Social Media Channel as below:

  2. Funding scheme: Monthly - start from Feb’2023

I. Project Information & Goals

1. Why Vietnam

1.1 External

1.2 Internal:

  • According to the latest statistics of Inna Everstake, Vietnam is the 2nd biggest community in NEAR with 18.8%
  • We have been representing NEAR in Vietnam since Feb 2021 and have been active on Twitter, Medium, and Youtube since then, with teammates playing various roles in the NEAR ecosystem.

=> Based on these conditions, we would like to propose a NEAR Vietnam Social Media Channel to:

  • Content: Delivering Expertise - Practical - Objective content in the local language and English to the Vietnamese community.
  • Foster the NEAR ecosystem’s mass adoption in Vietnam:
    • Recruit new NEAR members.
    • Support promoting high-reputation projects toward the Vietnamese community.

2. Why NEAR Vietnam

2.1 Twitter: x.com

Starting from Feb 2021, with Twitter impressions in 2022, from Jan till now (organic, no ads, no bot): 1419k impressions, 9.5K followers

2.2 Online events:

  • Outreach to essential projects, conduct a project review, AMA teaser then AMA recap afterward.

Our team consists of 4 members with diverse roles to make the ecosystem thrive by delivering the news & insights to the community, consulting projects on business & community development, and tech support.

Based on Social media guideline, we propose as follow:

  1. KPI for 1 month: from 01/02/2023 - 28/02/2023

Social Media → Distribution → Twitter news:

  • Task:
    1. Share and translate the daily news on Twitter about the NEAR ecosystem totally through the NEAR protocol, and NEAR Foundation Twitter account into Vietnamese.
  • KPIs: 1-3 daily news, +200 new followers on Twitter (9600 → 9800 followers), 50,000 tweet impressions
  • Budget: 600 USDT

Social Media → Others → Online event:

  • Task: 02 Contest or Giveaways on Twitter to increase followers and impressions
  • KPIs: +200 new followers on Twitter (9600 → 9800 followers), 50,000 tweet impressions
  • Budget: 100 USDT

Social Media → Distribution → Tiktok channel (NEW) :

  • Task: Aggregate news about the NEAR ecosystem/ Project review/ Macro economy & Crypto news related to NEAR
  • KPIs : 1 video/ week 150 view/video → 4 videos/ 600 view/ month.
  • Budget : 300 USDT

Content & Promotion → Promote new projects on Twitter:

  • Task:
  • Promote 3 projects:
    1. Apply from NEAR VN form: NEAR Project Registration
    2. Applied project published in this file manage by @marketingdao-council
  • KPIs : Publish 2 twitter contents(thread,research, review, one page overview, news), 01 medium article, giveaway, retweet their important events/ monthly
  • Metrics: 50,000 tweet impressions
  • Budget : 150 USDT x 3 projects = 450 USDT

Content & Promotion → AMA on Twitter space:

  • Task: we will host 3 AMAs per months with 150$ each
    • Each AMA we will research and write a project review on medium, then design & conduct AMA teaser with reward, then prepare questions, answer and host AMA in both languages simultaneously, announcing the winners, publish the AMA recap afterward on medium.
  • KPIs: AMA
  • Metrics: 3 AMA
  • Budget: hosting fee 150 USDT x 3 = 450 USDT

Content & Promotion → DEV Solidity, NEAR Community Building
Blockchain Lovers channel

  • Task:
    • Hold at least 1 online technical event per month (on zoom or google meet) to share and learn about Near smart contract, Substrate…
    • Participants: Expected 10-15 people.
    • Recruit new DEVs to apply CV for NEAR
  • KPIs: 1 Dev event
  • Budget: 400 USDT

Content → Writing Medium → Guide:

  • Task:
    • Translate an unlimited amount of articles about the Near ecosystem.
    • Write 7 new articles: Review 3 projects, 1 Dev event, and 3 AMA recaps.
  • KPIs: minimum 15 Vietnamese articles
  • Costs: 300 USDT

Total: 2500 usdt for Feb 2023

Hi @HaiVu – thanks for the clear and well-structured proposal and submitting the form. I have reviewed your proposal, and I am happy to support this. Here are my reasons:

  • This proposal is requesting a reasonable (in my opinion) amount of funding to support an existing community in the NEAR ecosystem that has shown engagement and growth.
  • The team has demonstrated that they can build a community, that they are genuinely devoted to supporting the growth and expansion of NEAR and have the technical expertise to product accurate content.
  • The goals and metrics for success are clearly outlined and reasonable to achieve within the timeframe proposed.
  • Last but not least, I appreciate how well structured, clear and aligned with the Marketing DAO guidelines this proposal is. I also want to note that you have submitted with the timeline for funding in mind. Thank you for taking care in how you presented your proposal.
