Project Name: CUDO DAO

CUDO DAO - IMMIGRANT AUDIOVISUAL, made by Immigrants and designed to welcome immigrant professionals.

CUDO DAO is an Audiovisual Factory created to be a platform for immigrants to express themselves and their art. Besides that, we want to be a support to help other DAO’s to turn their projects into videos. We are a DAO focused on audiovisual made by Brazilian immigrants living in Portugal and thought to welcome and produce audiovisual for immigrants and natives from all over the world…

Funding Period: November

Updated Project Timeline:

  • We migrated to Astro DAO to better manage our funds.
  • After learning more about how to manage our mintbase with a few conversations with @microchipgnu, we put more money in our account and updated our mintbase with all pending jobs. Now we have more than 130 nft’s created in 3 months.
  • We are posting on the Vertebra Instagram page, also daily, the artwork of the guest artists in our October call. The Vertebra project continues to be our main sales project on our mintbase with 8 more sales in the last month.
  • Our job with Incubadora DAO on editing the Poliedro videos for a social media version was done and now we are discussing a new collaboration to help you with your catalog.
  • Board members Heverton and Lucas worked during the NEAR CON event and helped create the NFT Gallery and edit the short films during the event under @VideoDon’s team. In addition, our photographers Lenon and Isabela helped cover the entire event with amazing photos.
  • Thanks to @suellenribeiro our website is about to be officially launched, mixing the CUDO FILMES and the CUDO DAO.

In order to carry out the actions we planned for this DAO and achieve the goals proposed in the roadmap for November, we request funding for the following activities:

Council Matters:

  • Council work 250 USD * 4 = 1000 USD
    Sub-total = 1000 USD

Social Media and Visual identity:

This is work that @talitafflima is already doing and we keep reaching interesting numbers of followers. Also, she is growing a lot in this area, showing many potential to be a reference on the social media manager. We already have 164 followers and, we have a goal to reach 1000 by next year.

  • Management Twitter account = 100 USD

After the open call to find a person to create and manage our twitter account, we found @fabiianolf and he keeps doing a very good job. So this month we will keep him with this task.

Support from an English speaker

Bounty to find a PT-EN speaker to support us on meetings and texts = 200 USD

Subtotal: 200 USD

Specific projects:

Postal

  • Fund to pay the bounty of the 3 new photographers who’ll illustrate the photos that will be published throughout the month of November. Bounty 1 photo/NFT per day (30 days): 200x3 = 600 USD.
  • Fund to manage the uploads on our Mintbase = 40 USD
  • Fund of Airdrop to do the onboarding of the audience = 100 USD
  • Bounty to edit our last live broadcast into a short version with English subtitles for dissemination on NEAR Ecosystem = 240 USD

Sub-total = 980 USD

Vértebra

  • Fund to pay the bounty of the 3 new designers / illustrators / tattoo artists who’ll illustrate the photos that will be published throughout the month of November. Reward 1 artwork/NFT per day: 200x3 = 600 USD
  • Fund to manage the uploads on our Mintbase = 40 USD

Sub-total = 640 USD

Algo me Diz:

  • Fund to Production & editing of our new 4 videos that’ll be published throughout the month of November = 360 USD
  • Fund to pay the Bounty for the new writer = 80 USD
  • Transcription and translation for EN = 30 USD

Sub-total = 470 USD

  • Fund to Production & editing 5 new videos that’ll be published on the end of November = 420 USD
  • Fee interviewees. 5x20 USD = 100 USD
  • Transcription and translation for PT-EN and to EN-PT = 200 USD

  • Fund for Pre-Production and building a pilot episode = 180 USD.

Sub-total = 180 USD

SMGP NEW ALBUM and Mini Doc:

  • Split fund for mastering of SMGP new album = 300 USD.

Sub-total = 300 USD

Total asked = 4990 USD (498 N)

:NOTE: After approved, all payout proposals will be for the N values displayed here; members of the CUDO DAO council and members of the community will have to use this as reference when asking for rewards. Those will be fixed once and if the request is approved by the council of the Creatives DAO. This must be done in order to protect the DAOs funds, otherwise we risk being unable to fulfill our commitments. That also means that members can ask for their payout at any point during the month. Used conversion rate: tba.

This proposal looks great overall! Seeing as the DAO is expanding its marketing and social media projects, might also be a good time to think about submitting a proposal to the Marketing DAO.

Thank you @chloe. It is worth remembering that much of what we have grown is due to the incredible support you have given us. We thank you very much for that =)

We thought about dividing the orders for next month, since we hadn’t reached the limit value yet, but, do you think we should already divide this proposal this month?
