Hey guys
In February, our team focused on achieving the set KPIs and establishing official partnerships within the Near Protocol ecosystem. We reached out to many projects in the ecosystem to discuss potential partnerships and tested a new direction of work.
What was done in February?
Referral links in NDC Degens work
In February, we established several official partnerships with Zomland and East Blue. These projects created common referral links for Degens participants, which were used in content from the NDC Degens Main Team.

The goal was to quickly cover news and annโs within these projects, as well as attract new users. With the work of the NDC Degens Main Team since mid-February, specifically from the 16th, we were able to attract:
Zomland - 51 referrals.
Eastblue - 77 referrals.
Other projects.
We also found projects that currently use a referral program. Each member of the NDC Degens Main Team created their own unique referral link and worked independently in this direction.
Here are the results starting from February 18:
DapDap - 45 referrals
HOT - 200 referrals
Meteor - 31 referrals.
Problems we encountered:
Use of common links (one for all). In March, we will abandon this initiative, and each member of NDC Degens Main Team will use their own referral link and work exclusively on promoting their own metrics in this direction.
Inconvenient referral system. Many projects do not have a Dashboard for tracking referral activity. And for projects like DapDap, the referral system is built on Invite codes, which is not suitable for us. We are solving this problem with GrowGami, but it is being solved very slowly.
A total of 404 referrals were attracted from February 15th.
You can track the overall statistics of referral activity here (Referral Activity Tab):
New direction - CMC Topics
We have started testing a new direction, CMC Topics, which would partially replace the Reddit direction for us. This direction covers activities on Coinmarketcap and involves creating content within CMC.
Itโs an experimental direction and we intend to add certain conditions within CMC Topics, such as the ability to create articles and other materials about projects. At the moment, we have been able to achieve the following metrics:
Comments / repost | Likes | views |
---|---|---|
9 | 90 | 3666 |
Yes, we understand that this is not an impressive result, but this is an experiment and we will try different approaches.
Public Degens
In this direction, we have done a lot of work to attract new participants. Several posts have been created that describe this campaign. At the moment, the number of interactions with the contract is at the level of 200. However, the number of real participants who have completed the work is less than 50.

Directions report
This month, we have seen a slight decrease in some metrics, such as the number of posts, the number of impressions, and the number of likes. This is due to the fact that we have changed the content creation strategy on Twitter several times, which depended on the set tasks. In the middle / end of the month, the strategy was exclusively focused on referral activity.
However, we see an increase in other metrics such as Link Clicks (related to referral activity), as well as an increase in the number of total followers. Our audience has grown by more than 10%, which will allow us to reach a new subs and attract them to the projects.

Detailed information:
Content
This direction was changed in February and will be changed again in March. We are working towards improving the quality of the produced content, which would be professional, more technical, and focused on attracting new users.
In February, the main focus was on creating content that would help the user better understand the ecosystem and attract them to the projects within the ecosystem. In March, even greater emphasis will be placed on this.
Targeting
The group currently consists of 6 people and is focused on popularizing the near ecosystem among crypto bloggers by influencing their communities (YT comments, Twitter comments, Twitter mentions).
Thanks to the Targeting subgroup, organic interest in the Near Ecosystem increases, because all comments and mentions are extremely informative and describe many positive technical and social points that can be used not only by bloggers for their videos (often our comments receive a response like โthanks for the detailed information, I will definitely do content in the near future"), as well as ordinary subscribers who often read comments under interesting videos.
In February, this subgroup showed excellent results. Thanks to our activities, 10 videos about the Near Ecosystem were made on Youtube. We focused on interacting with bloggers by talking about the benefits of Near blockchain and a monthly agenda that covers the social needs of ecosystem projects.
In February we received a lot of positive feedback from new bloggers. They promised to study the Near Ecosystem better in the future and make informational videos

Conclusion
This month was filled with experiments and changes in the work of NDC Degens. We have done a lot of preparatory work for further support of the ecosystem. In March, we are determined to focus on referral activity, as we consider this one of the most important metrics in our work.
