Transforming An NFT Into A Song

This Challenge requires the entrant to make a song from any one of the VanChan NFTs.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Select any one of the 10 NFTs here

  2. Announce your choice from step 1 above p here on the Forum with a post with a link to the VanChan NFT you selected.

  3. Create a song inspired by your choice VanChan NFT.

  4. When you conclude your song, submit your entry with a link to your song here on the Forum.

  5. Tag @vandal @AugustKinge @BigM007 in your posts.

Selection Process

You have 2 weeks to work on your submission, after which the top 3 songs submitted will be selected based on:

  1. Originality and Relevance i.e. how true to the VanDAO theme your song is, and more especially how well it reflects the backstory of the VanChan NFT you selected.

  2. The decision of the judges namely:
    @vandal @AugustKinge @BigM007

Winners will be selected, thus:

1st Prize :trophy:

$250

2nd Prize :trophy:

$150

3rd Prize :trophy:

$100

TIMELINE

Start:
14th of April, 2022

Deadline:
27th of April

Hint

Songs that relate closely to the backstory of the selected NFT stand a better chance of winning.

Okay @AugustKinge The NFT in question rn , is it an audio (Beat) NFT or Artwork?
And if it’s an artwork , do we have to make a song from the artwork?

There is no trick about it.

  1. Choose an artwork
  2. Make a song about what it means to you.
  3. Submit
  4. Get picked
  5. Win a prize.

There are 10 NFTs. Each of them has a backstory, history and peculiarity. All you have to do is allow yourself to be inspired by the art, it’s story and history… And let your creativity take over.

Check out the previous challenge where the same NFTs were used to make stories.

At the moment, the challenge is focused on making songs out of the NFTs.

However, if it helps you to achieve the aim of this challenge, you may animate your choice NFT.

This is a new one though, unconventional i must say, personally i would love to hear how that turns out but what we require is a complete song, perhaps you may love to try other challenges
