Proud to announce the BOSHACKS global hackathon taking place from August 25 - September 10th, an online global hackathon aimed to build the next generation of usable decentralized front end components.

The following proposal is to request a $3,000 USDC (can be in NEAR) to go towards BOS solutions that support the Creatives DAO community.

It is important to note we mentioned this to Sahil, and received a soft green light as we as discussed how we can support Creatives DAO BOS experience outside of the hackathon.

Why?

  • Creatives DAO needs developers in the community to build BOS native solutions for creatives across multiple chains
  • Creatives DAO needs a way for creatives to easily get onboarded and show cases contributors and DAOs funded by creatives DAO

About Bounty

The bounty will be an opt-in bounty for builders who directly create creative solutions on BOS. Based on discussion with leadership here are some bounty ideas.

Bounty Ideas

  • Create a solution that aggregates social feeds, profiles, contributors of all DAOs and its members that Creatives DAO has funded.
  • Create custom pages no code page for creatives
  • Create a clearer BOS native landing page for onboarding creatives and DAOs.
  • Create a multichain experience for artists to display their works
  • Create a NFT widget that displays a NFT’s artist pages, but also the DAO they are affiliated
  • Create a NFT DAO curation page, so DAO’s can curate NFT feeds and spotlight particular NFTs. Use case: marketplace curation.
  • Create a DAO curated events page and calendar for Creatives DAO related events
  • Comment on the governance post with any more ideas
  • Create a community based voting system based on SBTs to reward NFT creators
  • Create a creatives custom BOS profile with a way to sponsor creatives and purchase NFT work on a recurring basis
  • This idea list is subject to be improved based on feedback from the creatives community

Requirements

  • Component must be deployed on mainnet
  • Must be a solution tailored to the Creatives community

Prize

The $3K prize will be split into 5 winners

  • 1st place at $1,200
  • 2nd place at $800
  • 3rd place at $500
  • 4th place at $300
  • 5th place at $200

What We Need From Creatives DAO

  • Amplification through Creatives Community (we will provide copy and marketing materials (preferably though TG B DAO x CDAO groupchat)
  • A judge to judge these bounties from Creatives DAO Council
  • A mentor to assist with any questions around solutions creatives need (can be non-technical) on the Build DAO telegram

Payment Instructions

As organizers we are not taking any fees for organizing this. This can be paid out to hacks.sputnik-dao.near, as a retroactive bounty from the September budget after bounty winners are announced on September 15th.

Great initiative pal @nearbuild would also be nice to integrate video features on BOS not just image so the creative community can also make video posts and contents on the BOS

Excited to see more BOS development since NEAR has heavily focused on it. The more components created :arrow_right: drives more products :arrow_right: drives more users.
