Project: NEAR Ecosystem Onboarding & NFT Creation for Lakota Tribal members at the Uncila Makoce, Earth Day Gathering on the Rosebud reservation in South Dakota
Our team had a very successful trip to Rosebud Lakota reservation in South Dakota! We spent the week hosting workshops on alternative economies including NEAR ecosystem, economic sovereignty, nutrition & the history of farming, and in ceremony with our Lakota elders and community.
Our intention was to educate and onboard Lakota tribal members into NEAR, and we have successfully collaborated with The Kin DAO to bring 3 people on board who are in the process of establishing their own DAOs.
