The month of April started with a very high energy from council members and workers. Here is a detailed Report on activities for the month of April.
Project 1:
Near art college challenge

This competition pulled a lot of attention for the community. I promoted the competition on twitter and it reached 21,000 people, and 3,617 engagement
We had a total of 19 arts submitted from representatives of different colleges world wide.
A total of 230 wallets was activated in the process of the competition. Initially our expectation was to open 50 wallets but the turn out was high.
@pootlongto11 won the competition, we activated a total of 66 wallets for his voters. He was rewarded 150$ in near as requested in our astro dao funds.

Project 2 :
Live Band Music concert

We have had four Rehearsals so far with 13 band members.
We are going to be having 2 more rehearsals before the day of the concert
The concert is scheduled to hold on the 7th of May for proper planning and structure.

Learnings
One major lesson we learnt in the month of April is that we should be specific on the number of wallets that we want to activate in the Near art college competition. We had over 230 near wallet activation and it made us spend extra funds that was not included in our April’s proposal.
