Summary

  • For the month of July 2022, it marks to close of DAORecords 12 week metaverse Series called Soundsplash.

  • I have been creating the sound splash social media collaterals that helped in promotion on social media platforms as well helping liasing with Pawel and sleezy in regards to marketing and promotions.

  • Also supporting Vandal and team, with poster designs in our DAORecords HQ and template layout designs

  • Also help Co-ordinate and schedule 4 Twitter AMA space for the month of July

  • Handled Instagram, Facebook & Twitter platform

  • 12 x sound splash artiste posts

  • 1 x soundsplash partners poster (moving and static posts)

  • 5 x Twitter AMA poster

  • 1 x Soundsplash monthly poster of all 4 weekly artistes

  • Poster support for Discord channel Trivias


    Other Involvements

  • Participated in weekly DAOrecords marketing ops meeting in marketing ops group chat.

  • Worked with Vandal for the July monthly Soundsplash poster and also for the SoundSplash template for the Soundsplash live stream


Soundsplash series retrospective
Pros

  • The onboarding of web2 artists into the web3 space, and with readable, easy to setup near wallets, it proved to be a less steeper learning curve for artists to get onboarded.

  • Soundsplash meta series venue (rooftop pool party), also helped in setting the mood and atmosphere of a summer vibe, even though it was in CV, I believed it helped to make the event less intimidating, compared to a closed off environment.

Cons

  • I feel the timing of the event should be standardised as over time it would create a subliminal weekly reminder as proven when the timing was constant, a steady flow of regular faces would appear. As how our weekly AMA’s are a constant, and it has pulled in people constantly over time.

  • Artist not having a media kit should be ready, as per IRL, though debatable, I feel it would help standardise the identity of the Soundsplash event, without losing their personal imaging but will show them being part of the event. Eg: music festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra music festival. They have the same poster layout across all acts, to maintain the main emphasis of branding of the event.

  • Artist that failed to confirm their slots, DJs backing out and keeping silent.

Evaluation.

  • Maybe a starter kit guide checklist for the technical and media aspect of onboarding could help prepare the artists and DJs to get into web3.
  • Upon agreeing so, a zoom meeting could be held between the onboarded and talent to guide them into the web3 space, setting up their wallets, and even showing them an overview of the web3 venue space.
  • Maybe A contract that binds both parties (event organiser & talent) could be made.
  • To help protect both sides.


    What to expect in August ?

Will be supporting the marketing team with graphic design works, and social media posts, as we move to a new project beta
