**Poliedro payouts pending (70 N speakers and 900N artist fee, they will ask the payouts in the end of the program - after the 15th)

Updated Project Timeline:

  • We completed a month of the Poliedro residency with a lot of talks, workshops and discussions.

  • We launched the Artist Stipend Program Open Call and we received 9 applications. We are now in the selection process.

  • We are preparing the Poliedro catalogue and its launching that will happen in October 30th.
  • Plus, we have ongoing efforts into onboarding.
  • Bounty of NearTime completed

Highlights:

  • We are preparing our participation in Near Con event, that will happen in October.

  • Creation of a Bounty to promote Incubadora Visual Identity and to get more engagement with 19 applications.

  • Participation in the Open Challenge, with a governance experiment.

Learnings:

  • Having the residency program separated in two phases, the first one more focused on workshops and talks are a good way to get people’s interest and it develops a better group engagement.
  • Very specific technical workshops when not contextualized in an artistic practice are the opposite, in other words they take out the attention and engagement.

Next Steps:

  • Add more Council members and restructure the organizational practice of Incubadora to better accommodate our needs and goals (@herikalcn + Carolinap- account to be created soon)

  • Ideating the next Poliedro Residencies

  • Preparing the Catalogue + Catalogue launching

  • Preparing the participation in Near Con

  • We are having multiple discussions about becoming more financially sustainable, and not be so grant dependent; for now, expanding the Mintbase store reach and creating the best POLIEDRO Catalogue we can are the first steps. Also we are setting up a Sustainability team to research on DeFi solutions to increase the DAO resilience.

  • We started the creation of the Incubadora DAO website, aiming to increase the openness of our communication channels. We want to use less of our Discord channel and use the Near forum as much as we can for the bounties, project fundings and all matters regarding collaborating with the community, leaving the social media channels (TG, instagram, twitter) for our communication with the wider community of artists and creatives.
