1 - RESSONÂNCIA PODCASTS

This month we just advertise the previous episodes. We strongly believe in the potential of the podcasts. The plan is to keep on pushing the previous episodes until October and get back to recording in November in a new format with shorter episodes.

2 - RESSONANCIA STATION

We brought together the curator Carla Boregas

Carla Boregas (b.1984, Brazil) is a self-taught artist working with the medium of sound.Interested in encounters and situations that can occur through sound practices, Carla investigates sound as a language and tool for creating aural spaces, manipulating analog and digital synthesizers, field recordings and acoustic sounds with emphasis on texture, repetition and sensoriality. She works across the spectrum of composition/production, performance and sound installation. She also collaborates with artists fromdance, film and theater.

She invited 5 new artists from Latin America, all women with work at the intersection of visual arts, sound art and experimental music.

NFTropolis

Third month and was also a good experience for us, brought us near to other DAOs and we learnt a lot.

Those NFTs listed below are this month acquisition

We moved the value of 150 N in the last 3 months, 55SP DAO has a collection of 37 NFTs and 9 NFTs were sold at a value of 110 N

DIGITAL CONTENT CREATION

We started to do the planning part, choosing artists and subjects, but we haven’t started the content production yet because we are still waiting for the September budget, but we already have everything in place and as soon as we receive the funds we will start producing.

Highlights

We brought to community 9 new wallets members between artists, curators and producers. (bumbomudo.near, brunomendoncaart.near, rayracosta.near , 777letricia.near , paolaribeiro.near, marinacyrino.near, renataroman.near, milanos.near, gabrielaperigo.near0
We minted sound artworks of 4 artists, with the mintbase store, now with 8 artworks and 131 minted.
We added @pedrorahal to the council
We had a very good interest from artists and curator at Estacao Ressonancia so we are going to be able to plan in advance monthly programme.
We created relevant content on all our projects, specially Estaçao Ressonancia that is nearly ready to be launched to generalk public laye October.
We empowered our partnership with near on our networks, tagging all our posts with #nearprotocol and @ near when possible
We also mentioned Near support at all social media, website, digital catalog and videos.

Learnings:

Keep on organizing calendar and all the next steps for projects
Still very excited regarding NFTropolis, we really believe we should take it serious and invest as could be a very important step to bring more people onboard to the ecosystem
Understanding the constant need of publicize and more social media presence to increase podcast and project audience
Improving schemes to teach and show how to enter the ecosystem - as adding videos and creating a PDF to send to newbies.
Trying to figure out a good term between good artists, curator and researchers but also interested in the web3, near ecosystem and crypto world.
Learning how to deal with Meta / Instagram advertising

Next Steps:

Focus on Estacao Ressonância, bringing onboard new curators and many more artists and sound artworks. We strongly believe in the NFT format for music but we also would like to create parallel support with other medias and presentations (online and offline)

Investing in social media, marketing and public relations

Organize in long terms (6 months to 1 year) the DAO projects

Goal:

With the NEAR support and new content we believe that we will impact a significant number of people and then bring more publicity and creativity to the ecosystem.

Empowering a full digital platform that grows month by month and becomes an important research archive of the intersections of visual and sound art, with research on Portuguese-speaking artists and the importance of music and art in the cultures of these countries.
