[Report] November 2023 / MDAO / DeeDee

Project Name: DeeDee

Project Status: Completed

Project Accounting: We were very fortunate to have been approved for a grant of 3,000 USD from MDAO last month, which has enabled us to create the brand and initial marketing campaign. We’d like to outline the results of the KIPs we achieved with this grant.

Updated Project Timeline: We needed more time for the marketing campaign to go live and achieve higher impressions, but we have now reached over 8.5K impressions across all published posts.

Highlights:

The Co-branding post on Near Social exceeded the expected number of participants. Additionally, BDAO noticed us through the easypoll, expressing interest in collaboration. They have kindly be giving advice in various areas to enhance our app, and we are happy to implement their suggestions to make this app even better.

The curiosity campaign has generated an unexpectedly high number of comments as people are eager to share their stories.

What we promised:

  • Brand Work: Based on 1000 USD allocated for this effort
    We will use BOS to create an easy poll for people to vote for the preferred brand. A total of 100 transaction (10 per transaction)
  • Curiosity Campaign: We will accomplish a total of 8000 impressions (0.000125 per impression)

What we achieved:

  • Brand Work: Based on 1000 USD allocated for this effort
    We use BOS to create an easy poll for people to vote for the preferred brand. A total of 112 transaction (8.9 per transaction)
  • Curiosity Campaign: We reached a total of 8509 impressions and 611 reactions. Metrics Sheet.

Learnings:

We’ve acknowledged that achieving the expected number of impressions on social media for the curiosity campaign was more challenging than anticipated, given the novelty of this project. It took a few extra weeks to explore various techniques and meet our goals.

Next Steps:

To enhance our marketing strategy and bolster our proposal for HoM, we’re planning to establish a landing page on BOS. This page will outline the steps and functionality of the DeeDee app.

Additionally, we aim to produce an animated explanatory video. This video will be shared on our social media channels to showcase the appearance and functionality of DeeDee, timed to coincide with the peak of the curiosity campaign.
