Hi, we’re the Dosis Web3 team. We’re creating this report to provide more transparency to the Meta Pool team about the grant we received.
TL;DR
Our mission is to learn as a community alongside specialists and through various educational activities that facilitate learning about everything encompassed by the Web3 ecosystem (cryptocurrencies, finance, marketing, technology, personal development). In this specific case of the grant, our focus is on understanding and learning how to use decentralized finance and the benefits it offers to enthusiasts.
Mission
We began our journey in 2022 as enthusiasts from different professions, but with a clear focus on wanting to learn about the ecosystem and complementary areas. We connected with specialists in the topics we wanted to learn about, such as: Bitcoin, blockchain, technology, marketing, personal development, cryptoasset finance, art, and artificial intelligence. In this story, we received a lot of support from the people we contacted, but our greatest driving force is our community, who have unconditionally supported us since day 1 when we decided to start Dosis Web3. It hasn’t been easy; we’ve been through a lot, tears, laughter, stress, frustration, happiness, and most importantly, a lot of learning. From the beginning, we managed to assemble an incredible team, leveraging our strengths and dedicating our time to coordinating educational activities, learning from the very basics and without technical jargon, allowing anyone who wants to learn about and enter this ecosystem to do so in a simpler way.
At the end of 2023, we decided to participate and submitted a proposal for round #5, which was approved by the Meta Pool community, and we are now part of the grantees of this project. Grateful for every delegated vote, as Dosis Web3 is growing and every contribution counts, we continue to put in our best effort to continue building our mission.
We received a one-time payment in the $stNEAR currency in December 2023.
Based on our proposal, we will now break down each executed point:
- Liquid Staking Online Workshop with the Meta Pool team: Workshop promotion campaign on Dosis Web3’s social media platforms
With the goal of maximizing reach and participation in the online workshop on liquid staking, we implemented a comprehensive promotion campaign. It was carried out from January 24th to 31st, 2024, covering all our digital platforms, including X, Instagram, TikTok, PeakD, and our Telegram community. The focus was on informing our community and audience about the opportunities and knowledge they could acquire through this educational activity, thus ensuring widespread participation.

- Liquid Staking Workshop with Meta Pool
In this workshop, Alan Estrada from the Meta Pool team discussed how liquid staking is contributing to the world of Decentralized Finance (DeFi). He explained how this innovation not only simplifies financial processes but also opens up new opportunities for blockchain enthusiasts. Meta Pool presents itself as a great solution within the blockchain ecosystem, allowing users to participate in cryptocurrency staking. This project facilitates a more efficient and user-friendly interaction with DeFi platforms, giving users the power to maximize the use of their crypto assets while contributing to the development of the ecosystem.Key Workshop Content:
- What is Liquid Staking? We provided a clear and non-technical introduction for those new to the topic.
- Benefits of Liquid Staking with Meta Pool:
- Security: Securing your assets on the platform.
- Profitability: Optimizing the returns on your investments.
- Liquidity: Access to your funds without restrictions.
- Practical Guide: How to start with liquid staking on Meta Pool, including creating a wallet on the NEAR network and how to interact with the decentralized exchange.
Throughout the workshop, we explored practical applications of liquid staking, teaching participants how to set up and manage their own wallets and actively participate in the Meta Pool DAO, all to ensure a deep understanding and effective learning.
Liquid staking opens doors to a universe of possibilities in the crypto and DeFi ecosystem. With innovative tools like Meta Pool, participants can start generating returns from their digital assets with improved flexibility and liquidity, thus strengthening their participation and impact on the blockchain.
- Resources and Materials:
NFT Distribution: A raffle of 10 exclusive NFTs designed by Dosis Web3, deployed on the NEAR network.
Test Tokens: Distribution of 2.06 $NEAR to each participant, encouraging hands-on interaction with the platform.
POAP: Everyone who attended the event got a special POAP.

- Workshop recording
To make our workshop accessible in the long run, we have hosted the full recording on our official 3Speak profile within the Hive blockchain. By posting the video on 3Speak, we make it easy for both event participants and the general public to review the content at their convenience, thus broadening the educational scope of the workshop and allowing other members of the cryptocurrency and blockchain community to benefit from the great insights and learnings discussed.

- Presence of Meta Pool in Promotional Materials
During Season 5, the Meta Pool logo was all over our promo materials. We put it on flyers for every event and shared them on X, Instagram, and Hive.
In total, we had 18 events:
10 regular X Spaces.
3 Extra X Spaces. - One was to talk about the proposals for the next round of Meta Pool grantees.
5 Telegram Voices.
- Season 5 Poaps:
In Season 5, with the exception of the first episode, all POAPs distributed at our activities mentioned Meta Pool as a partner and provided a direct link to their X profile. These digital tokens not only celebrated attendee participation, but also increased visibility and engagement with Meta Pool.

- Parish Announcements: Weekly Activity Announcements
Thanks to the ongoing collaboration with Francisco and Rous from Meta Pool, we have incorporated the most important activities of the week in our “Parish Announcements” section. This section aims to disseminate the most important events in the LATAM crypto and web3 ecosystem, both in our X Spaces and in posts on our X profile. Not only do we share these announcements during X Spaces, but we also create detailed threads on X so that the wider community can stay informed and easily access relevant events and news. Each announcement includes detailed information and direct links, ensuring that our audience has immediate access to these valuable resources.
- Visibility on our website
Since March 16th, Meta Pool’s logo has been highlighted in the “Who trusted us” section of our website, ensuring high visibility and accessibility. By clicking on the logo, users are redirected to Meta Pool’s platform, boosting traffic to your site and encouraging further interaction with your various services.

- Participation as Partnership in the Dosis Web3 MeetUp
In March, we held our first Dosis Web3 community MeetUp, focused on education and networking. We took advantage of this event to collaborate with several partners, including Meta Pool:
- Educational Panels: We conducted two panels that allowed attendees to deepen their knowledge about Bitcoin and Blockchain technology.
- Inclusion of Meta Pool: Although the grant proposal did not include Meta Pool as a partner of this event, we included Meta Pool to expand the diffusion of the benefits of its platform.
- Flyers: We incorporated Meta Pool’s logo in all the MeetUp’s official flyers and advertisements, ensuring visibility.

- Meta Pool Talk: We dedicated a segment at the beginning of the MeetUp to highlight each partner. In the case of Meta Pool, we informed in-person attendees and those connected via Instagram Live about the benefits and services offered by the platform.
- Exposure on Our Website: During the MeetUp, by showcasing our new website, we highlighted that Meta Pool is one of the projects that has placed its trust in us, strengthening our relationship and collaboration.
- Dissemination of Grants Proposals in Round #7 through X Space
In order to increase the support and visibility of the initiatives in Latin America, we organized a special meeting in X Spaces dedicated to the dissemination of the proposals of Meta Pool grants round #7. This space gave participants the opportunity to present their projects, proposals and share their experiences throughout the application process. The space, which lasted 85 minutes (1 hour and 25 minutes), allowed the presentation of approximately 10 proposals to an audience of 262 people. In addition, we had Francisco from the Meta Pool team as a guest, who provided information about the current round of grants, commented that round #8 was about to begin and shared general information about the project. This meeting fostered support among community members and strengthened the network of collaboration among LATAM projects.
- Recommendations on the grant application process in round #7 to the 100 Días de Research community
Having some experience in the grant application process, we offered recommendations to the 100 Days of Research education community during their round #7 grant application process. In order to be supportive and helpful, we recommended broad dissemination of their proposal through their official channels, ensuring that their entire community was informed and ready to lend their support. In addition, we advise you to take advantage of the spaces in the social network X to make dynamic presentations of your project and your proposal, extending its reach. We also suggested the use of educational resources to teach stakeholders how to effectively participate in voting on the Meta Pool platform. This support with 100 Días de Research was made from the friendship we have and fostering a continuous support.
- Dosis Web3 Participation in X Spaces with Ambassador Sky
As part of our initiative to support participation in Meta Pool governance and associated benefits, the Dosis Web3 team participated in three X Spaces sessions led by Ambassador Sky. During these events, we were guests and co-hosts, discussing several key topics:
- Experience in round #5 of grants: we detailed our participation process, from the development of the proposal to the voting process and the results obtained, where we were one of the benefited projects. X space
- Interaction with projects from subsequent rounds: As co-hosts, we had the opportunity to dialogue with participants from rounds 6 and 7, exploring their proposals and sharing our experiences as previous winners in Meta Pool X space round 7 grants.
These activities not only reinforced our engagement with the Meta Pool community, but also allowed us to exchange perspectives and insights with other projects.
The objectives we achieved with this proposal exceeded our expectations in terms of participation and reach, allowing us to create a very active brand presence for Meta Pool within our community and followers. Therefore, we are pleased to announce the following figures:
- Number of attendees at the liquid staking online workshop: 33 people.
- Number of holders of the Dw3 <> Meta Pool NFT collection: 10 Holders who were chosen by a raffle among workshop attendees.
- Number of beneficiaries receiving $NEAR tokens: 33 people.
- Total $NEAR sent to workshop participants: 67.98 $NEAR tokens distributed.
- Total reach of posts for Spaces shared on our X social network: The total views of our invitation posts to the season’s X Spaces is 16,940, indicating that each publication has an average visibility of over 1000 views.
- Total POAPs minted: Throughout our entire Season 5, a total of 779 POAPs were issued, with Meta Pool appearing in the Partners section of their accompanying description.
- Number of days of visibility of the Partnership on our website: Since its publication on March 16, 2024, Meta Pool has appeared as our partner on our website for a total of 140 days.
- Number of people connected and replays of season Spaces recordings: During the 10 season Spaces, we had a total of 843 people connected live and 544 replays of the recordings.
- Number of people connected and replays of extra Spaces recordings: During the extra Spaces, we had a total of 309 people connected live and 149 replays of the recordings.
- Number of attendees at the meet-up: Our meet-up had a total of 54 attendees.
- Number of stickers printed for the MeetUp: A total of 60 stickers were printed and distributed to attendees at the meet-up held on March 16th of this year.
- Total reach of MeetUp posts shared on our X social network: The number of views on posts made on our X account corresponding to the invitation, sold-out announcement, and recap of the meet-up held is 5,381 views.
- Number of listeners of the extra Space talking about Round 7 of Meta Pool: During this Space, we had a total of 262 people connected live.
