The first month of our Sowing Seeds artistic residency is going well, with April’s artist, Profile - MariaF - NEAR Forum, on track to deliver “a series of drawings exploring both forms, textures and concepts, of charcoal as a medium to reproduce and study the human body” for the extended deadline of mid-May.
[IN PROGRESS] Production, Recording, Mixing & Mastering of the collaborative first single by nillynoon - ‘Back Home’
The first single of nillynoon’s (Profile - nillynoon - NEAR Forum) debut album is ready! Thanks to the mixing by Profile - Larrelito - NEAR Forum and external mastering, the track has been completed on time and is set to be minted on the Garden Collective Mintbase store.

The video was shot in early April by Profile - roadworks - NEAR Forum and is now in the post-production stages. The revision and final edits are still to be completed with the release of the video promo set for May 1st, with the full release and NFT series on May 8th.

The open call for animators/motion graphics designers has been extended to allow for further entries. We plan on extending the invitation to participate in new groups with the aim of bringing new people into our ecosystem.
Highlights:
- We are currently onboarding three new creatives from the Garden community for next month’s activities, which has been an ongoing process this month.
- We have posted the three winners to social media from our first bounty contest
Learnings
- Our open call could have benefited greatly from a broader reach. Based on this, we are adding an extension and redoubling our efforts to get this opportunity in front of the right people.

Next Steps:
- Later this week we will host our first collaboration with VanDAO ([Proposal] Garden Collective Contribution to VanDAO Studio - #2 by vandal)
- Following our work in March with burnable NFTs, we plan on applying this to ticketing in the coming months.
