Project title: Business Development and Community Building
One-liner: Engage, Educate and Empower, as many people as possible about the idea of Web3 by supporting them in using, building, interacting or being part of NEAR.
Project Summary: This project focuses primarily on my existing network of Entrepreneurs & Executives in the German speaking area of Switzerland, Istanbul (Turkey) and Berlin (Germany) for all possible interactions with NEAR. In a second phase, through leveraging these contacts the aims is to increase the network and reach a wider community for projects and building Web3 solutions.

Monthly summary: The month of May continued to be very active filled with plenty of conf calls and irl meetings. As in the previous month, the key details can be found below.
The pausing of the fellowship program by NEAR University coincides with the end of my 90-day fellowship.
The projects in pipeline as well as the education projects will be (hopefully successfully!) finalised by myself and the members of the NF and NU team, outside of this fellowship program.

Activities:
- Onboarded, finalized and coordinated grant request for company building state-of-the-art digital copyright protection for NFTs and Metaverse items, including anti-counterfeit technology and IP and artist protection. (R3)
The project plans to deploy an isolated data-storage of all validation and records of approval and verification on NEAR. - Onboarded, finalized and coordinated grant request for the oldest English learning forum website with 180k registered users on their website and around 500k followers on their social media. The company intends to build their remuneration and verification (certificates) on the NEAR blockchain. (EF)
- Onboarded and coordinated grant request for a ReFi project. However this project was abandoned due to reasons pertaining to the project. (DN)
- Reached an “in general agreement” on the outlines of the academic program with the owner of a private university in order to run a web3 curriculum at the university. This university will serve as a pilot project to showcase the curriculum and fine tune the program. After a successful launch we can launch the same (or similar) program to an additional private university with 50 locations and over 100k students. (IEÜ)(DC)
- Re-activated an existing relationship between NEAR and a famous NFT marketplace to enable NEAR chain to be added. Project was already in discussion but due to some miscommunication stalled. Project is now integrating. (RAR)
- Kickstarted active discussion with various Terra projects to build on NEAR, with 1 having received a grant and migrating and potentially 5 more moving as a group to NEAR as a new home. (TR)(LUA)
