Project title: Business Development and Community Building

One-liner: Engage, Educate and Empower, as many people as possible about the idea of Web3 by supporting them in using, building, interacting or being part of NEAR.

Project Summary: This project focuses primarily on my existing network of Entrepreneurs & Executives in the German speaking area of Switzerland, Istanbul (Turkey) and Berlin (Germany) for all possible interactions with NEAR. In a second phase, through leveraging these contacts the aims is to increase the network and reach a wider community for projects and building Web3 solutions.

Activities:

  1. IT company I advised and supported in getting started with focus on Web3 and NEAR was founded and created. (AT)*
  2. First fast grant approval by NEAR for company developing a music market place. (AT/C)
    2.a. Participated in various meetings and workshops for this purpose.
  3. First students onboarded to the NEAR university for NCD program.
  4. Intro call and next steps discussion with a company providing blockchain toolkits for users to adopt blockchain without the need of coding (drag&drop). The company has access and partners with companies with multi-million user base as well as prestigious universities.
    4.a. Currently in the process for fast grant to deploy part of the toolkits to build natively on NEAR. Once approved discussion about cooperation possibilities on the education side and further strengthening partnership with their clients and NEAR. (FP)
  5. Various meetings with influential business people in Turkey to discuss promotion and adoption of NEAR protocol for various use cases and companies. (Various)
  6. Discussion with IT development company focused on blockchain only, for potential cooperation and building on NEAR. (RB)
  7. Market research and identification of high potential cooperation sectors and areas.
