Initial proposal
Dear community members,
Despite many hurdles along the way our launch event has happened. Our initial partner venue has let us down so we had to source a new one. We had approached Carpintarias de Sao Lazaro/ Miradouro de Baixo which hosted NearCon in Lisbon last summer. Following a meeting where we presented the project they have taken a liking to it and decided to support us so we were exempt of some of the hefty costs such a majestic venue usually entails. Our event has happened on the Sunday 5th June instead of the initially planned Saturday the 4th. Our payments are still being processed as we are a very recent DAO. We had alongside our event a street food market and the venue’s rooftop bar.

Breakdown of revised budget :
- AR|RA - 3 performers - 300$ processed
- Mazarin - 5 performers - 500$ processed
- Julia Baker - 100$ DJ fee to be processed
- Mr Mute - 160$ Dj processed
- Whole Ball of Wax - 100$ DJ fee to be processed
- Karl Godard - DJ and performance with AR|RA - 100$ processed
- refreshments for artist : 65euros/70$ processed
- Sound engineering/stage management fee : 100$ to be processed
- Donation boxes, transport & miscell fees - 50$ to be processed
- Photographer fee - 50 $ to be processed
