[REPORT] AC-DAO February+March Marketing Lead Council Report

Executive Summary

In February and March, AC-DAO began developing a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase visibility and deeper engagement with the community. During this period, the focus was on utilizing social media platforms, information sessions, and partnerships to raise awareness and support for our mini-grant initiatives.

Council Work

Serving on the AC-DAO Council, I actively engage in weekly operational calls, conducted four times, with each session extending beyond an hour. We’ve collated a number of promising concepts poised for near-term execution. Additionally, we’ve facilitated discussions with 16 projects to assist in realizing their objectives within the Aurora Ecosystem. Despite our independence from the Aurora Labs entity, our collaboration with them is tight, focusing on the exploration of projects seeking their assistance.

Marketing Initiatives Overview

  1. Social Media Management (SMM): We expanded our social media presence across multiple platforms. Our strategy was to ensure consistent strategic communication.

  2. AMA and Voice Sessions: We hosted several Ask Me Anything and voice sessions on Twitter (X) and Telegram. These sessions aimed to engage directly with our community, providing insights into AC-DAO’s operations and future plans.

  3. Partnerships and Collaborations:

    • Trisolaris Partnership: Engaged in the collaborative Talentum Contest to boost interaction and visibility. (getting ready to launch)
    • Aurora Play: Reactivated daily tournaments and maintained server performance, enhancing community participation.
    • Aurora Tip Bot: Reactivated this project to enhance our social media engagement and community rewards.
  4. Additional Support Activities:

    • Application Analysis & Testing: Conducted thorough reviews and testing of supported projects to ensure quality and reliability.
    • KPI Analysis: Assessed the impact and success of our projects through Key Performance Indicators.
    • Media Support: Provided media support for collaborative initiatives, notably with supported projects, to ensure maximum engagement.

Engagement and Development Focus

Our efforts extend beyond marketing, aiming to attract developers to the Aurora & NEAR ecosystem, increasing the number of robust applications and solutions. A highlight of our developmental engagement includes our partnership with PipeFlare, a leader on the Aurora Chain, alongside other projects to maximize developer involvement.

Events and Promotions:

  • Synergy Guild: Promoted Aurora & NEAR through organized events, enhancing ecosystem awareness. (getting ready to launch)
  • Social Media Promotion: Targeted the crypto gamers community, increasing awareness and engagement within the ecosystem.
  • Mental Maze: Focused on marketing and community activities tailored to support and highlight February’s achievements.
