C1 is partnering with Shiny Gloves Club, a nonprofit organization based in the United States that provides free education to low-income communities in Nigeria.
We plan to help set up physical education facilities in the state of Jos, Nigeria.
While Shiny Gloves Club provides education in manufacturing and engineering, C1 will provide classes in art and blockchain.
Each location will be secured for one year. We will document the creation of the facility, the partnership, and the student’s creation of art, which will be photographed and minted as NFTs.
The classes we facilitate will have their own mintbase store to house their own collection, near wallet and phone, and the money earned from the sales of the NFTs will be divided equally among all the creators.
We require $750 USD to set up each classroom, including the cost of renting the space for one year, and to provide the equipment for the classroom’s operation.
We will spend $500 on setting up the class and hiring a Desk Officer, who will oversee the classes and equipment.
$250 will be spent on buying a phone for the wallet that the Desk Officer will operate, hiring an artist to create lessons that will be streamed, and hiring a photographer and a camera crew to document the entire process.
Once a location is secured and funds are released, we can have the facility operational within a week.
The classrooms will be operational for the entire year, so we will post updates and pictures as the year progresses.
Shiny Gloves Club and C1 will work together to market the promotional material we develop, to raise awareness for the mission and to mobilize support in the NFT space and in the real world.
