Analytics of AuroraESNear on Near.social according to Near Atlas (Number 28)

Our community is in the top 20 according to the new “Trending user’s Button” in BOS

Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks
(our program only has 1 month.)
Historical 30%
4-8 weeks 50%

As we are in our first month of this marketing-oriented on-chain Near stats, and we are a community with a little more than a year funded (Aurora-oriented dApps), we will consider this variable in our numbers.

We will take near.social and BOS tools as our recent thermometer.
according to Near Atlas, our community account is in the 28th position, reflecting the activity and interactions it has been having to/from our community members as a key of measure.
We can also mention that we are in the top 20 of the new “Trending user’s Button” in BOS

Account acquisition cost
According to this requirement, if we only consider active on-chain accounts for this first process to be divided by the whole budget approved, our cost per wallet will sound prohibitive as we also promised several off-chain activities to be funded to keep RRSS active as they are the gate to catch new users, like articles, videos, medium content, X (Twitter) and telegram content that also was contemplated in it, community awareness, (after of more than a year without funds from NF) to take this number by this method would get a result that doesn’t reflect the actual scenario and delivered results reported on our previous report.

If this parameter is the only factor that determines the cost per campaign, we can restructure our budget to focus on it by potentially eliminating any off-chain activity. If this is the new objective, kindly inform us, and we will remove certain activities to prioritize this element.

Median number of dApps used by P95 accounts retained for 1+ week
9 dApps, according to this BOS poll from our community

Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps
our estimation is around 30-50
Social engagement score
As shown in NEAR Atlas, and “Trending user’s Button” pictures above.

Scope

As more than 80% of the content available on Near is in English, we have taken a deliberate step towards sharing information with the global Spanish-speaking community in their native language. We aim to educate and equip Spanish-speaking communities by creating informative resources that can be utilized to encourage interaction and engagement.

Goals

Our project is driven by clear and ambitious goals that align with our mission to educate, onboard new users, and build a vibrant Spanish-speaking community around NEAR Protocol, its ecosystem, and BOS for grassroots users. With education, we will be able to retain more users in the ecosystem. These goals are designed to foster understanding, engagement, and widespread adoption:

1. Education and Awareness:

• Goal 1.1: Continue educating the Spanish-speaking community about NEAR Protocol, its core concepts, its ecosystem, and BOS is our main goal. Our last course for grassroots users in BOS was a successful achievement, and we want to keep showing to more Spanish-speaking communities how to use BOS for their needs.
• Goal 1.2: Onboard new users into BOS. Show them how to use the platform from a final user point of view by guiding them through learning, creating wallets, and using decentralized applications (dApps) on BOS.

2. Utilize BOS for accounts retention (every course participant has to be actively interacting with the platform)

2.1: Educating grassroots users about BOS and its potential as a Web3 platform to communicate, inform, and grow communities in a simple way is a great way to keep people engaging with the ecosystem. We don’t only show them the platform, but we encourage users to interact with the platform every week. Using posts, games in BOS, and Easy Poll.

• Goal 2.2: Cultivate a strong and active Spanish-speaking NEAR community in BOS, where members collaborate, share knowledge, and support each other. We are proud to be one of the first guilds in Spanish-driven users to BOS, and we want to encourage others to do so

3. Marketing and Awareness Campaigns:

• Goal 3.1: Create engaging marketing contests to incentivize community members to promote NEAR on social platforms like X, and NEAR Social. This will include contests on BOS every week, educational threads, Polls using Easy Poll, and news publications.

Goal 3.2: We will support the awareness of our flag project NearP2P.

4. Community Growth and Collaboration:

• Goal 4.1: Expand the reach and influence of the Spanish NEAR community, attracting new members and partners to contribute to our mission. (Networking with other communities)

Deliverables

  • A BOS course with four workshops for base users. In each session, we grant an NFT from Mintbase at the end of each class to the attendees. Also, we ask participants to engage on BOS with different tasks who complete and have submitted their assignments to win a certification NFT.

  • 2 AMA about DeFi on NEAR

  • 4 medium articles in Spanish.

  • Telegram and EasyPoll Quizzes, Educational Posts in the Telegram Channel, News Posts, and games contests.

  • X (Twitter) 4-6 Educational threads about NEAR (and ecosystem), each one reposted in BOS + News publication.

  • Near Social/BOS: 4-6 educational articles with infographics.

Appreciate your support!
@marketingdao-council

With this proposal, we aim to continue our successful efforts to empower the Spanish-speaking community to embrace web3 technology and further enhance NEAR’s presence in the Latin region. We humbly request your support to make this vision a reality and help us shape a future where NEAR Protocol and its ecosystem are accessible to all, regardless of their prior blockchain experience.

Thank you for your proposal

please check our core value and update your proposal so that to align.

MarketingDAO Guidelines for October that were posted on the forum. They contain the NDC’s KPIs we are asked to focus on for allocating this month’s funds.

I’ll paste them here so it’s easier to review:

Please use the following metrics that will be used for tracking individual initiatives’ performance by Marketing (Eco) DAO. All the metrics must be attributable to the relevant project/initiative through on-chain activity and off-chain reporting, ensuring GDPR compliance and preserving privacy:

  1. Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks — the percentage of accounts who continue interacting on the chain over a given time period (higher is better)
  2. Account acquisition cost — budget divided by the number of accounts interacting through the funded initiative (lower is better)
  3. Median number of dApps used by P95 accounts retained for 1+ week (higher is better)
  4. Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps (higher is better)
  5. Social engagement score — some compound metric of the number of posts, likes, and followers/views in social media produced by the users.

Let’s take this example: Why should Marketing (Eco) DAO fund Project X?

  1. Project X should have a clear goal and target audience
  2. Project X should bring improvements to several metrics listed above

Based on the above, can you share:

  • Which of the above KPIs your initiative will use if funding is received
  • How you will track and share the results with MDAO so we can have visibility into the results?
  • What is the most important aspect of this proposal, the most crucial to fund – what will have the most impact for the community?

The reality is that MDAO has 35 pending proposals for limited funds, so it is likely we will be asking for revisions and some reductions in scope in order to fund the highest impact activities and projects as we move into mid-Q4.

Thanks!

Thanks @ramgor for the proposal. Waiting to see response to @Bakaka questions before completing review. In short, my initial thought is that we may need to push this to the next round as we are running up against the deadline, reviewing far more proposals than we can fund, and this one is not yet aligned with the KPIs we need to see for full consideration.

Thanks @Bakaka for your feedback.
we just edited our proposal to include the required parameters.

Please let us know if we need to make other corrections, and we will kindly attend them. :slightly_smiling_face:

We understand that!

It is up to you guys to decide based on the remaining time you have. Although it would be wonderful to continue with this effort, especially with the BOS course oriented towards Spanish-speaking grassroots users, we will understand any future decision. We know that you’re doing your best to deliver results given the circumstances.

Hello @ramgor, let’s build LATAM DAO with a suitable regional budget. I think you have outgrown the role of the local community. Thank you great job!
