Hi, now it gets (sur)real!
We present our first proposal as a DAO to the CreativesDAO, to begin our collaboration with the NEAR Ecosystem and other DAOs, our big community of artists and huge Web 3.0 possibilities.
In 2019 Gruta and A Bela Associação created an massive event called “Atropa Beladona” named after the psychedelic and mysterious plant.
We used that name with a play of words to create a movement and collaboration between the non-profit associations/cooperatives in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. We want to continue that idea, grow even further, expand more to all Portugal and create a huge participating community. Onboarding already with this event A Bela Associação to have its own DAO.
Portugal has more than 31000 registered (article in Portuguese here) and legal collectives, that range from associations, co-operatives and federations. From the 10 Million Portugueses, half of this population registered is connected to at least one of these types of legal institutes.
Why not connect it all artistically ?
Atropa Beladona its combination of effects that gives the possibility for a huge multi-disciplinary event. Combining music, performative acts, visuals, special decor, installations, exhibits and now merging the empowerment of Web 3.0 technology, with nothing better than the Eco Friendly NEAR Protocol.
We started big with the connection, and already have made 2 big events with a cultural association called ADAO, in Barreiro, a massive association that we onboarded and collected interested in participating in this growing community. Members will collaborate on this event and spread the seeds of this growing plant/event more.
We are also inviting another DAO already onboarded in the Regional Hub of Lisbon called Radio Ophelia DAO to play a major part in this event.
Now with Arroz Criativo onboard it, it’s time to let it grow big

Onboarding users and creating wallets to the community that integrates this growing network.

Present the possibility for participants with Associations or collectives to create their own DAO in Astro and start using a decentralized way of governance, presenting them the possibilities of Web 3.0.

Redeem/Buy Art via NFT’s for different artists in our stores and introduce these artists to the concept of creating their own store via Mintbase.

NFT Exhibit with screens, with multiple artists and different types of media. A lot of this artists participating will also be onboarded to NEAR Ecosystem since a few will be their first time using NFT and this type of art. We are planning also an Open Call for this.

3XR - Virtual Gallery Showcasing NFTs and NFTs Collections

A talk will open the event with Radio Ophelia live broadcasting, on how technology, creative industries and associations can grow community networks.
