Raphael Fonseca is Associate Curator of Latin American Modern and Contemporary Art at the Denver Art Museum. Doctor in Art Criticism and History from UERJ. He received the Marcantonio Vilaça Curator Award (2015). He curated the exhibitions “Raio-que-o-parta: fictions of the modern in Brazil” (2022, SESC 24 de Maio, São Paulo, general curator); “Sweat” (2021, Haus der Kunst, Munich, co-curated by Anna Schneider) and “Vaivém” (Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil SP, DF, RJ and MG, 2019-2020), the result of her doctoral thesis. He is the curator, together with Renée Akitelek Mboya, of the 22nd edition of Bienal_Sesc_Videobrasil, in 2023. Since 2020, he has been organizing the project 1 curatorx, 1 hora, where he conducts a series of interviews with curators from all over Brazil and from different generations.

Tetine, a Brazilian electronic duo based in London, talks in the xx episode of Ressonância about the contribution of the week of modern art to the legacy of Brazilian music.
The duo was formed in 1995 by Bruno Verner and Eliete Mejorado in the city of São Paulo. They create a variety of sound works, from atonic orchestral pieces to electropunk, baile funk, miami-bass. They have a series of ritualistic performances and have exhibited video art and films extensively throughout Europe and South America. Tetine has released albums on different labels (Slum Dunk Music/Bizarre Music/Soul Jazz Records/Sulphur Records/Mr Bongo).
