Project title: Partnerships in Education - North America (EiR)
One-liner: Development and expansion of educational partnerships in North America via higher education institutions, private institutions (boot camps, etc) and entrepreneurs/influencers.
Project in alignment with: NEAR University & funding by NEAR Foundation
Project Summary: Our aim is to make NEAR the go-to protocol for Web3 in the Americas by providing the most expansive, highest quality, and most accessible education platforms to people of all backgrounds who are interested in learning both its technical and non-technical aspects to build, teach, or incorporate into their existing businesses.

New Contacts & Leads:
- VC funding developers in Web3
- Latin American-North American partnerships developed and in proposal stage (educators) / pre-submission of proposal
- Entrepreneur in Residence leads - status proposals in the works
- Included in talks/proposals with educators on YouTube, Udemy, and DAOs built on NEAR; communications support with applicants
Partnership Development:
- Involved in team supporting UT Austin hackathon. Advising, marketing, judging setup.
- Potential partnerships with above mentioned leads—proposals in submission stage/writing stage
- Attended ETHDenver, met team members within NEAR and potential and current developers on NEAR, educators on NEAR
Topics Learned:
- NFT value (intrinsic and extrinsic)
- Blockchain technology and security
- NEAR’s advantage with dynamic sharding
- NEAR’s advantage by using Rust (safe and unsafe)
- NEAR’s advantage by being economically accessible
Additional:
- Coordination with Canadian counterpart to begin brainstorming development of North American strategy (includes cross-continent strategy for Spanish speaking/other languages).
