February at Meta Pool: Strengthening Community and Engagement
February was a vibrant month for Meta Pool as we continued to foster community connections, enhance governance participation, and celebrate special events. Here’s a recap of our February highlights:
Build Buddies Meet-Ups in Bangkok
We hosted three Build Buddies Meet-Up events in Bangkok, providing platforms for blockchain enthusiasts to connect and collaborate:
• February 8: Our community gathered at The Food School Bangkok to discuss staking strategies and explore grant opportunities.
• February 15: The meet-up focused on decentralized finance (DeFi) trends, with participants sharing insights and experiences.
• February 22: We delved into the latest developments in the NEAR ecosystem, fostering engaging discussions among attendees.
MPIP Voting and Governance
Our governance process remained active with Meta Pool Improvement Proposal (MPIP) 14 entering the voting phase. This proposal aims to enhance our reward mechanism with a three-month test period. Community members are encouraged to participate in the voting process, which concludes on February 26. 
Valentine’s Day Celebration
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, we hosted a special event that brought our community closer together. Members shared their experiences and stories, highlighting the strong bonds within our network.
Social Media Engagement
Our online presence flourished with increased engagement:
• LinkedIn: We published two posts showcasing our events and initiatives, sparking meaningful conversations.
• Twitter: Two posts highlighted our latest updates, and our monthly recap tweet received positive feedback from the community.
