In May 2025, Meta Pool Thailand made consistent progress in nurturing a vibrant Web3 community through weekly meetups, event partnerships, and grassroots builder engagement. The month emphasized inclusivity, collaboration, and visibility in both casual and professional spaces.
Key Activities
- Build Buddies Weekly Meetups
• Organized weekly events every Saturday with rotating topics like Web3, AI, community building, and idea pitching.
• Average attendance: 10–15 people per week (builders, students, developers, and newcomers).
• Environment: Relaxed, welcoming, and open for all levels.
• Promoted Meta Pool’s grants and onboarding support at each session.
- Build Buddies: Pizza Day Edition (May 24)
• Fun and interactive community meetup centered around pizza 
• Brought together new faces in a cozy venue for informal discussions on Web3, AI, and creative collaboration.
• High engagement, excellent photo content, and positive attendee feedback.
- KRNL Konnect: Bangkok – Community Partner (May 31)
• Meta Pool served as a community partner for this large-scale event.
• Participants included top names from Bitkub, Uniswap, TrueMoney, Cleverse, and more.
• Meiji supported both event coordination and on-site presence.
• Strengthened Meta Pool’s brand among VCs, infra builders, and founders.
Community Growth
• Reached over 50 unique attendees across events.
• Strengthened brand visibility in Bangkok’s builder and student circles.
• Gathered interest from developers, creative thinkers, and community leaders.
• Continued building strong ties with KRNL Labs and Cleverse.
Suggestions for Improvement
• Introduce in-event activities or small bounties (e.g. tweet-to-earn, quiz drops).
• Launch an official Build Buddies Thailand Telegram group for follow-up engagement.
• Create more Thai-language materials about Meta Pool’s grant process.
