Live Twitter Spaces on the Current State of the NEAR Ecosystem

Hello friends,

I’m a new EIR to NEAR. Ive been fortunate to talk to some great members of our community recently and one of them brought up an interesting idea that i would like to initiate.

We would like to facilitate a live Twitter Spaces where members and leaders of the community can come up and discuss the current state of the NEAR ecosystem.

This would be an opportunity to discuss current shortcomings in the ecosystem and hopefully end with actionable items that the community wants to address.

Whether it’s about building a better more visible jobs board, having certain processes be clearer, acknowledging the need for more rust contract auditors or other paint points in the ecosystem. We would like to raise these issues and perhaps find solutions to some of them.

Please let me know your interest in something like this. We can also highlight ecosystem successes and acknowledge positive outcomes that have been created. Overall we want to make the ecosystem more coherent, facilitate collaboration, reduce inefficiencies, build bonds between members and whatever else productive may come out of this.

I myself am new, i do think it would be most fruitful if people who have been working within the ecosystem show up to discuss these things. I am happy to mediate. Please let me know your interest. Any leaders or engaged members, i think it would be a positive and transparent movement that may provide unexpected beneficial results.

Hello Hello ! Welcome :100:

As we conversed on Discord and from our meeting: full support from me.

I do love this idea :1st_place_medal: and I do believe that this will bring more awareness and collaboration opportunities. :rocket:

Let us know what you need to make this happen, like banner designer, spreading of the information directly to the Guild Leaders, or anything

Thanks David & Fritz. The members at nearweek are also interested in making this a reality. I think between us we can create an awesome twitter spaces the community shows up to.

Would you both be willing to discuss/organize this in a telegram group? Once we’ve decided some basics we can send out a post to the community.
