House of Stake — Social Media & Governance Operations Charter
I. Introduction
The House of Stake (HoS) is the NEAR ecosystem’s governance hub focused on increasing community participation, coordinating economic design, deploying the protocol treasury responsibly, and advancing research at the intersection of AI and governance.
The HoS Social Media Team ensures that validators, delegates, builders, and the broader NEAR community are informed, engaged, and empowered to participate in governance meaningfully — without censorship or narrative control.
II. Scope of Work
Governance News & Announcements
Provide timely, clear updates on proposals, treasury activity, governance research, and community calls.
Standardized Templates & Brand Kit
Maintain consistent and professional messaging across all channels.
Content Pipeline
Produce ongoing blog posts, forum threads, social threads, and newsletters.
Channel Stewardship
Moderate Discord, Telegram, X/Twitter, and governance forums in a neutral manner, without silencing criticism.
Community Voice & Feedback
Conduct weekly focus-group calls with validators, delegates, and builders, turning sentiment into actionable insights.
Events & Activations
Organize and host AMAs, Twitter Spaces, webinars, and in-person meetups at major crypto events.
Swag & Brand Presence
Design and distribute swag to grow visibility and strengthen identity.
III. Team Structure & Remuneration
Social Media Lead (1)
Runs daily content, moderates channels, manages the editorial calendar, gathers community feedback, and reports monthly KPIs.
Content Manager & AMA Host (1)
Drafts governance updates, blog posts, and forum threads; organizes and hosts Twitter Spaces and community calls; publishes recaps.
Designer (1)
Creates visuals for posts, threads, event banners, infographics, and swag; maintains the HoS Brand Kit.
Remuneration
The total monthly budget and team allocation will be proposed as a separate item for House of Stake community voting.

Access and Ownership
The current administrator of these channels — NF contractor “Community Squad” — is obligated to transfer full administrative access to the HoS Social Media Team within 7 days from the moment the team and its budget are officially approved.
Fallback Rule
If access to any official HoS channel is not transferred within 7 days, the HoS Social Media Team will create new, fully community-owned channels to guarantee operational independence, transparency, and decentralization.
VI. Reporting & Roadmaps
Monthly Reports
The Social Media Lead publishes engagement metrics and sentiment analysis publicly on gov.near.org.
6-Month Roadmaps
Roadmaps align communication efforts with on-chain activity, elections, milestones, and major governance events.
VII. Key Principles
No Censorship
Censorship of criticism, alternative opinions, or governance oversight is strictly prohibited.
Moderation may only address clear violations of the HoS Code of Conduct, as directed by the Ombuds Office
Governance communication must remain open, transparent, and resistant to narrative manipulation.
Independence & Conflict of Interest
To ensure neutrality and eliminate centralized influence, team members must not:

Be part of the HoS Foundation Team, including its board, representatives, or any related entities
This guarantees independence from existing power structures and protects the community voice.
