Section 2. Game Information
About The Game:
Elemental Game is a blockchain-based game that combines strategic decision-making with the luck of the draw, focusing on elemental powers like Earth, Water, and Fire. Players manage their Mana and make tactical elemental choices to compete in battles, enhancing the gaming experience with blockchain’s transparency and security.
What is the USP (unique selling point) of your game?:
At the current phase of Elemental Game’s development, we have opted for a simplified game logic that makes it easy for new players to understand and engage with the game; details of this can be found in the game rules v1. The unique aspect of our game is the implementation of a gasless interaction concept. As a basis for implementation, we can use Aurora Pass: Web3 Wallet or an implementation of the ERC-4337 standard. In the initial version, our focus is on simplifying the onboarding process for new users and ensuring a comfortable gameplay experience. This approach not only reduces barriers to entry for those unfamiliar with blockchain technology but also enhances user satisfaction by eliminating the need for transaction fees during gameplay, making it more accessible and enjoyable.
Please Describe Your User Demographic:
Our primary users are blockchain enthusiasts and strategic game players, ranging from casual gamers curious about blockchain innovations to seasoned strategists seeking complex gameplay. These users are typically involved in the cryptocurrency community and are familiar with using digital tokens and managing blockchain-based assets.
What is your Tech Stack?
Typescript, Solidity, Web3, Blockchain.
Section 3. Status of the Project
What is the status of your project?
The project is currently in its early stages. We have a detailed concept for the first version of the game and an existing architecture for the smart contracts written in Solidity targeted at the TVM (TON Virtual Machine). However, to broaden our potential user base and enhance compatibility, there is a need to refactor this architecture to be compatible with the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine).
What is the financial status of your project?
The project is in the seed funding stage, with financial backing required to transition the smart contract architecture and develop the user interface further.
Monthly Burn Rate In USD:
The monthly burn rate is currently approximately $15,000. This covers preliminary development work, early-stage testing, and other preparatory activities necessary to get the project to a point where full-scale development can begin.
Development Needs:
In addition to the architectural transition from TVM to EVM, the user interface is at the MVP stage and needs to be refined to align with the current game concept. This includes enhancing UI/UX elements and integrating with the EVM ecosystem to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
Section 4. Team
About Your Team:
How many Team Members are working on the project: Three core members and several part-time specialists.
Please Tell Us About Your Development Team:
Our development team includes a senior full-stack developer who oversees the architecture and integration of backend and frontend systems. We also have a mid-level frontend developer responsible for implementing interactive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Please Tell Us About Your Design Team:
The team’s UI designer focuses on creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces that enhance player interactions and overall user experience within the game.
Please Tell Us About Your Extended Team:
On a part-time basis, we engage a communications expert to handle our public relations and community outreach, ensuring our presence is well-established within Web3 communities. Additionally, a blockchain analyst provides insights and updates on blockchain technology trends to help align our development with current and future technologies.
Please Tell Us About Your Community Engagement:
We maintain strong, sustainable connections with various Web3 communities. These relationships are crucial for feedback, user acquisition, and to stay updated with the evolving blockchain landscape, ensuring our game remains relevant and ahead of market trends.
Section 5. Support
What Kind Of Support Is Needed?
To elevate Elemental Game to its full potential, we are seeking collaboration with Aurora Labs and AC-DAO. This partnership is anticipated to encompass three key areas: marketing activity, community development, and technical consultancy.
Please provide more information about the selected areas:
-
Marketing Activity and Community Development: We aim to leverage the established networks and marketing prowess of Aurora Labs and AC-DAO to boost our visibility within the blockchain gaming sector. Their expertise in engaging and growing Web3 communities will be vital in attracting and retaining players, thereby expanding our user base. Utilizing their channels and resources, we plan to conduct targeted marketing campaigns, community events, and promotional activities that resonate with our core demographic.
-
Technical Consultations: Technical guidance from Aurora Labs will be crucial as we integrate Aurora technologies into our platform. We seek advisory services on best practices for implementing gasless transactions and optimizing our smart contract architecture to ensure seamless and efficient game operations. Their insights will help us navigate the complexities of blockchain integration and utilize Aurora’s features to enhance game performance and security.
These collaborations will not only help in scaling our operations but also ensure that our game is built on a robust, cutting-edge framework that aligns with industry standards and player expectations.
Section 6. Grants
Grant Amount Requested: Initially, $5,000 per month
Our project’s current operational needs could ideally be met with a budget of $20,000 per month. This amount would cover our existing Monthly Burn Rate and enable significant enhancements in user engagement through the implementation of incentives for player activity and the organization of tournaments. These initiatives are expected to solidify a committed player base and drive sustained growth.
However, we recognize that as a new entrant in the market, our team has yet to establish a track record that might justify such a level of trust and investment. Therefore, we are requesting a more modest sum of $5,000 per month to start. This funding will be allocated primarily towards fostering user engagement and hosting tournaments. We believe these efforts will help cultivate a robust core community, which is crucial for the long-term success and stability of our game.
We propose the following approach to participating in your grants system:
Should our proposal be approved, we commit to incorporating the following objectives into our project’s immediate priorities:
- Integration with the Aurora network.
- Implementation of Aurora Pass: Web3 Wallet.
- Alpha testing of the game.
Upon successful completion of these integration milestones according to the rules of the first version, a revised monthly budget of $5,000 will be allocated.
Please provide a budget breakdown:
-
User Activity Incentives ($2,000):
- In-game Challenges: $1,500 will be used to reward players who complete specific challenges within the game. These challenges will be designed to promote exploration of different game features and strategic play.
- Special Event Participation: $500 will fund rewards for users participating in time-limited events such as holiday-themed quests or special battles, which are crucial for keeping the community engaged and excited about the game.
-
Tournament Organization and Execution ($3,000):
- Logistics: $800 will cover the operational costs associated with setting up and running tournaments. This includes software tools for tournament management, server costs, and administrative support.
- Prize Pools: $2,000 will be dedicated to the prize pools for tournament winners to incentivize competitive play and attract high-level players. These tournaments are expected to generate significant interest and activity within the game.
- Promotional Activities: $200 will be used for marketing these tournaments through social media, in-game announcements, and partnerships with influencers within the gaming community. This will help to increase the visibility of the events and attract a larger participant base.
This budget is designed to maximize the impact of the grant funds by directly investing in activities that enhance player engagement and community vitality, thereby establishing a solid foundation for the game’s growth and success.
We believe that securing this grant will enable us to demonstrate the viability of our game and its appeal to users, setting the stage for future funding and more extensive development initiatives.
