A. Delegation Address: 0a7f22eb39772434f6e06adc11e51a965b77165c379e11a61779006d41a35215
B. Forum Username: DAOplomats, Eren_DAOplomats, Winverse_DAOplomats
C. Twitter Username: DAOplomats
D. Target Voting Participation:
We aim to maintain 100% voting participation, with the sole exception of abstaining where a clear conflict of interest exists
F. History of Interactions with NEAR Protocol:
G**. History of Governance Participation (in NEAR or other ecosystems):**
As a trusted partner, we have been working with 1inch, Gitcoin, Everclear, and BanklessDAO on governance, tokenomics, grants, and community building. We are also professional delegates of DeFi platforms like Uniswap, Aave, Compound, Velora, Jito and Lido DAO, including Layer 2 ecosystems like Arbitrium, Optimism and ZKsync.
We aim to participate actively in the discussions and provide regular updates on how we have voted here on the Forum and our Notion. We are among the few delegates in the EVM ecosystem who maintain a transparent voting history that the public can audit.
H**. Top 3 Priorities for the NEAR Ecosystem:**
Strategic and Sustainable Growth: We will advocate for a disciplined, data-driven approach to the treasury. Our priority is to allocate capital to builders and projects with clear potential for long-term value, especially those leveraging NEAR’s unique strengths in AI and crypto. We believe every grant is an investment in the ecosystem’s future, and we’ll focus on funding initiatives that expand the core technology and bring more users to NEAR.
Accountable and Transparent Governance: We believe effective governance is an active process. We will lead by example, providing clear, public rationales for every vote and expecting the same high standard of detail from all proposals. Crucially, our work doesn’t end when a vote passes. We will push for strong follow-up mechanisms to ensure that funded projects deliver on their commitments to the community.
A Thriving Builder-First Environment: NEAR’s greatest asset is its community of builders. Our focus is on creating an environment where they can thrive. This means actively working to streamline the grant process, remove obstacles, and ensure governance decisions directly support the developers on the front lines. Our goal is to make NEAR the undisputed best platform for creators to turn their vision into reality.
I. Reasoning for any past votes in the NEAR Ecosystem:
J. Conflicts of Interest:
DAOplomats are active governance participants in multiple DAOs and Ethereum Layer 2. We might leverage our network to bring up proposals that benefit all stakeholders. We maintain a high level of transparency and will always disclose potential conflicts of interest before voting on proposals, ensuring our operations are always above board.
K. Answer Hypothetical Delegate Scenario:
The NEAR ecosystem is evaluating opportunities to stimulate onchain activity. In this hypothetical scenario, there are three different proposals for the Foundation to consider:
-
A proposal to allocate incentives to DeFi protocol users to benefit protocol metrics.
-
A proposal to establish a subcommittee to market the NEAR Protocol to developers and users.
-
A proposal to establish a Protocol-Owned Liquidity position by the House of Stake on major DeFi protocols in the ecosystem.
-
What additional information would you need from the proposers to make an informed decision?
-
There are three keys things we would need to make an informed decision
-
Specifications — how they intend to go about each of these
-
Budget analysis — how much they will be needing to carry out each initiative
-
Timeline — what timeframe should we start expecting positive results
-
-
-
What key metrics would you evaluate to support or reject the proposals?
-
ROI
-
Strategic community injection
-
-
How would you ultimately support and vote for these different proposals?
- For the first two proposals, yes. We would need a strong convincing to support the third
L. What is your motivation for becoming a NEAR delegate?
M. Anticipated delegation support (if applicable) (Please describe the anticipated breakdown of delegated voting power, including any relevant self-delegation or large investors/core team members you wish to disclose).
