[CLOSED] Naksh’s Participation at NEAR Con 2022

The milestone chart you are looking at is the first one we made when we set up Naksh. We have completed all the milestones set, since this was the basis on which the first NEAR grant was given to us, we have not updated the chart since, but will do so. As for SDNFT con, as mentioned in the report, it was mainly for creating awareness and was an event where we were not physically present. But we did establish our presence in the western region.

We have met quite a few artists but they only create digital art and as of V1 of Naksh, we have only focused on physical artwork and traditional art from India. We have spoken to graffbase and a few Filipino artists are waiting to mint on Naksh once we open up self-minting.

Even though we have onboarded physical artists we are not able to get more of them onboarded because our contract is not editable and hence have to wait for the completion of the self-minting feature to onboard the current interested artists.

We had not requested any artist list not were we given any from the Creatives DAO.

Again, for web3conf, Naksh has not requested any personal funds unlike other DAOs, it was in general for Near India and the focus has also been that.
But definitely since we are attending, Naksh will make the most of it in getting more artists on board.

We will share the reports once the event is over!

So there were no reports given because we have not utilised any money, we received 10k$ which depreciated soon after, so we were not able to use them, and are waiting for the market to stabilise for us to utilise those funds again.

We wouldn’t have asked for support if we had enough funds in our DAO.

When we can see that in Naksh?

May be it’s your responsibility to convert in Stable coin

Thanks
HINA

We are expecting our NF Grant to go through now, this feature should be live in September.

Yes, but since the funds were in our DAO we did not think of converting it into stablecoin. Another thing is we did not need the funds then, so we did not want to unnecessarily take them out.

But, yes I agree it was a mistake on our part, we have learnt our lesson and once we are able to recover bits of the fund now that the market also is slowly recovering, we will covert partial into stablecoin.

Thanks

Great editing work.
Loving the support :expressionless:
Thank you for the very constructive comment.

What i don’t understand is Naksh have all the time to attend the events, but what they dont have to onboard new artist to their platforms?

what they are actually lacking as talent is not one of the things.

When they can receive funds for nearcons as hacker, they have the capability but are they not using it to push the product even better??

What benefit Naksh is getting if new artists are not able to get onboard from all this events?

Hi, if you have followed Naksh or even have read a little bit about us, you would know that both the founders are not developers and we have developers who are working on the product.

And as mentioned above and time and again, that we are onboarding artists but are not able to put out their work yet, since the back end development is not complete.

And I am sure you would know that getting quality RUST developers is not an easy task.

What we Aim to get from these events is awareness of the existence of a platform like Naksh. And definitely we are in touch with projects which can eventually use Naksh as it’s whitelisting marketplace but they have mostly been EVM projects.

We do want to reach to out some these projects which are on NEAR as well. Which is one of the reasons of us wanting to attend NEAR Con.

And I would like for you to refrain from mockery before actually showing what your contribution has been to the ecosystem, as a matter of fact even then it doesn’t give you any rights

Hey guys, can you confirm if you’ve been accepted to the Hackathon, please?
