Section 6. Experience

What related qualifications, experience or track record does your team bring to this initiative?

  • I have worked a number of community admin and manager roles, For the past year and half I have been building Ludero.
  • Ludero is a gamified market research platform that uses microgaming and rewards to collect data based on users understanding of a product or service.
  • You can view live campaigns on app.ludero.com from NEAR, popula and Boneyard gaming.

Section 7. Project Goals

  • Project Overview:

Ludero is a Web3 micro gaming data capture and reward company that empowers brands and players alike. By seamlessly integrating cutting-edge data capture mechanisms with blockchain technology, Ludero revolutionises brand-user comprehension testing and engagement. Through immersive gaming experiences, Ludero creates a transparent and inclusive ecosystem where players actively contribute, earning equitable rewards and shaping the future of brand and customer engagement.

Think Mario, but when you hit an object and die, a question pops up about your company. If you answer correctly, you come back to life and continue playing the game!

  • There is a serious lack of useful tools for marketers to use when testing their audience’s knowledge level. Most of the time companies use surveys, focus groups, and one on one interviews but oftentimes these provide diminishing returns and participation and engagement rate varies. For small teams, intelligence gathering is difficult, time consuming and takes time away from other key operational activities.

What if you could use games as a way to test your audience’s knowledge, and sentiment and use rewards to incentivise them in return for quality engagement?

Here are some examples of previous campaigns we have run (this list is by no means exhaustive)

Learn about the bos by nearweek
Sphere game
Learn about Near at consensus
Bos (pt 2)
Learn and earn with Wax
Meteor wallet

  • With this funding from MDAO, we can increase our active users and further provide opportunities for NEAR based projects to engage their users and test their comprehension. With this grant opportunity we can continue to test and iterate on successful campaign parameters and better develop our customer success programme.

Section 8. Project Deliverables

  • To create learn and earn campaigns on Ludero
  • We will create weekly campaigns and distribute them via email, twitter and our community channels.
  • 20-30 campaigns
  • We expect to onboard another 3000 end users at a minimum
  • Telgram, twitter
  • Games, graphics for channels Example
  • Relevant news on NEAR as we are part of the ecosystem amplififcation group, working with NF to amplify key pieces of news.

Section 9. Budget

Link to initial post and introduction about LazyFi

Link to the last time we were told to apply

  • $5500
    Break down of cost

$4750 for campaigns
$500 campaign promotion
$250 Ludero’s fee (5% of rewards deposited into the smart contract are taken as platform revenue)

  • This will last us 2-3 months
  • and will begin on the 20/08/23
  • Ludero has been a key NEAR ecosystem grassroots project since the inception and has, from 0 built a platform, an engaged userbase. We have also been supporting NF with their recent move to the bos by creating key learning campaigns. Ludero is one of the few grant projects that is still alive and actively contributing to NEAR.

Great project, our community loves it

Provides platform for the people who are exploring NEAR to learn about it and the ecosystem, while being incentivized to do so. Bullish on Lear&Earn and Ludero

I currently have a live campaign on Ludero for the Boneyard and have been using since testnet. Its a great way to educate people because we all know people don’t read the whitepaper lol.

The best part is that this unique platform actively engages learners with a casual gaming experience. I fully support Reza and his team and I’m personally excited to see where they take this project.

As the LearnToEarn Manager for NEKO, I believe Ludero Campaign is an excellent way to educate the community, learning, earning, and gaming simultaneously.

I had the opportunity to Host/Co-host Reza on the Boneyard Gaming podcast, and I must say the team behind Ludero is doing a fantastic job at revolutionizing the learning experience.

I support and back Ludero and its team for this proposal.

Hello! Thank you very much for your proposal.
Due a specific KPIs for August and September, MDAO can allow only proposals focused on the following:

  • NDC elections
  • Increasing numbers of active Developers
  • Increasing numbers of active Users and Transactions
  • Increasing numbers of Tools on BOS

I suggest postponing your proposal to next quarter and focusing on the oncoming Elections in NDC. We all need to get at least 500 people to participate so that the Grassroots DAOs continue receiving funding.

@deepoctober thanks for the proposal. I have reviewed and noted the positive comments from the community.
However i would echo fellow council @Dacha and would suggest that you resubmit your proposal in Q4. Our limited funding is currently focused on supporting the NDC elections and devs building BOS.

Unable to support

Hi @deepoctober – you also have this proposal live for consideration. I think we need to have a single proposal to review per review period. Can you clarify which one the council should focus on?

Hi @so608 let’s focus on this proposal, they are identical but this has been posted with the new and updated guidelines.

Hi @deepoctober,

As stated by other council members, our KPIs have shifted in order to drive traction behind the NDC election.

Having watched the material on your Twitter, I’m inclined to support your type of project.

The issue I see is more related to outlining specific projects, deliverables (mentioning “campaigns” is too general), and the formats you will be building out content.

If you can provide a detailed outline, I’m happy to review.

Hi Clint, we are able to modify some of the campaigns so that they cover the bos + NDC education.

From the last grant in marketing dao we were able to validate the idea and got into the AWS accelerator. We have a proven track record of delivering value in the ecosystem and it’s an extremely critical point in the project’s life, and could ultimately have a deep impact on the potential failure and success of the project.

We have received overwhelming community support and would kindly ask you to reconsider.
