Chara Kit is a low fidelity NFT Collection about Character Design and the Creator Economy :factory:

CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY

  1. Check Loam DAO for the Bounties BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
  2. Artist must have the Chara Kit NFT in their wallet.
  3. Artist must create a CHARACTER inspired by the Chara Kit NFT they own.
  4. Artist must mint their new creation.
  5. Follow Chara Kit and Tweet your Character Art**#CharaKit**
  6. Post your artwork here, on NEAR Forum.
  7. Send your NFT to NEAR Wallet address: loam.sputnik-dao.near

OPEN ART COMMISSION

  • This is not a competition. Competitions have severe downsides, only benefiting a few winners and the sponsors of the competition.

  • Loam DAO is experimenting with a different model. This model relies on participants taking stake in this project with shared rewards and value.

Mintbase Chara Kit Shop

  • This is the same shop as charakit.co (it’s like the back end of the shop) NFT’s can be purchased at either website with NEAR Wallet.

The collection is Creative Commons Zero.

  • CC0 enables creators and owners of copyright to waive those interests in their works and thereby place them as completely as possible in the public domain, so that others may freely build upon, enhance and reuse the works for any purposes without restriction under copyright or database law.

Quality Control

  • Loam DAO Council will administer quality control. Artist must meet all criteria listed above. Artist must create a character from the silhouette. If you have minted an artwork and it is rejected we will refund your cost of purchasing the NFT.

Help, I don’t have the $NEAR in my wallet!

  • If you are an artist that wants to collaborate, but you don’t have the $NEAR in your wallet post a link to your Art Portfolio in the comments. Your portfolio must be accessible online.

  • Loam DAO is making every effort to keep the commission accessible and will help you to find sponsorship.

Where can the Artiste mint their own creation? On any store or on your own store?

Mintbase, Paras or any NEAR Protocol NFT platform. We have to be able to purchase your new NFT with NEAR.

Yes, first you have to buy the original NFT that you are basing your artwork on. You need to have some stake in the project. This is a collaboration.

Hello. I have refunded the NEAR you used to Purchase the Chara Kit NFT (with a little extra for the transaction fees). Transaction ID here. Your artwork did not qualify, as you did not really create anything- you only changed the colors of the existing artwork. I have updated the criteria to better reflect our goal with this collaboration. We apologize for the confusion. Have a great weekend.
