Accounts retention strategy

Account retention is a continuous effort that requires a deep understanding of user needs and a commitment to creating a positive user experience. By implementing these strategies, we believe we can enhance user retention, ensuring that musicians remain engaged with the TNE Music player and other music NFT platform on Near Protocol.

User Onboarding and Education:

The team will Provide more comprehensive onboarding materials and tutorials that guide musicians through the process of creating and managing NFTs. Make these resources easy to understand and accessible to users.
Offer webinars, workshops, or introduce online courses materials to teach musicians how to leverage NFTs for their music careers. Educating users about the benefits of NFTs can increase their motivation to stay engaged with the platform.
Interactive User Support:

Establish responsive community support channels to address user inquiries, issues, and concerns promptly. A timely and helpful support will significantly improve the user experience and reduce frustration.
Feedback Loops and Surveys:

Collect feedback from users regularly through surveys or feedback forms. Use this information to make data-driven decisions for platform improvements.

User Retention Analytics:
Regularly analyze user behavior and retention metrics to identify trends and patterns. Identify where users tend to drop off or disengage and take corrective actions.
Create targeted re-engagement campaigns for users who have become less active, offering incentives or exclusive content to reignite their interest.

Long-Term User Value:
We will Focus not only on acquiring new users but also on maximizing the lifetime value of existing users. Encourage users to explore additional features, upgrade their accounts, and make more NFT transactions over time.

With the music we don’t just t onboard musicians but also retain them and their fam base engaged in the ecosystem to engage with various NFt Dapps and through The TNE Music Player serving as a platform for artists to upload and mint their songs, facilitate transactions, and allow users to discover and listen to music within the NEAR ecosystem.

In the course of our previous endeavors with the Blockchain Operating System (BOS), we encountered several substantial challenges that notably impeded our progress. Among these, dependency issues emerged as a prominent obstacle, complicating our development process significantly. Furthermore, a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding the implementation of certain features within the BOS environment added to our difficulties.

Our prototypes were initially designed outside the Blockchain Operating System (BOS). The challenges arose when we attempted to adapt and integrate these prototypes with BOS, particularly in achieving the intended functionality and implementing specific styling methods that had previously been effective.

Recognizing these challenges, we have since sought the expertise of developers with extensive experience and a deep understanding of the BOS architecture. Their insights are anticipated to bridge our knowledge gap and provide us with the necessary guidance to navigate the intricacies of BOS more effectively.

In response to these hurdles, we are exploring a new approach to ensure the successful deployment of our product. Which is to design most of the products off BOS and design a new website for the community for easy upgrades and that will enable users to navigate to the TNE MUSIC PLAYER swiftly.

These repositories offer a comprehensive overview of our development efforts and the specific issues we faced during the implementation phase on BOS.

This reflective note underscores our commitment to overcoming the technical obstacles encountered and our proactive measures to seek external expertise. With this renewed approach, we are optimistic about surmounting past challenges and achieving our project objectives

PRODUCT TIMELINE and Team Compensation:

Phase 1: Requirements Gathering and Planning (Weeks 1-2) in progress =$1000

Objective: Define project scope, objectives, and gather detailed requirements.

Activities:

  • Conduct meetings to refine the vision and requirements.
  • Outline the technical requirements for NEAR wallet authentication and music player functionalities.
  • deliverables, and allocate resources, incorporating time for continued learning about BOS Because some components will be built on BOS.

Phase 2: Design (Weeks 3-4) = $2000

Objective: Create the design and architecture of the website and music player.

Activities:

  • Design the UI/UX of the website, ensuring seamless navigation to the music player.
  • Architect the music player and its interaction with NEAR wallets, identifying components to be developed on BOS.
  • Plan the integration strategy for BOS components with the rest of the system.
  • Validate designs and refine based on feedback.

Hello @IgbozeIsrael yes We will build little of the non interactive front end on BOS for easy sync when we decide to consider build an BOS widget and the interactive front-end annd functionality outside BOS.

Ok. From your response, I get that you intend to use it as an onboarding avenue for artiste and fans but what I’m not yet clear about is the retention plan.

Also, is this in anyway similar to Mintbase and if dissimilar, what are the dissimilarities please?

As retention plan we will be hosting various contest to keep them active on our product and on the ecosystem like, music contest/competition (more uploads, more original song created etc.), weekend fun trival on near social, meme contest and more.

Also mintbase The only fully automated Minter + Marketplace on NEAR that helps you create and list NFTs on your own smart contract with a full developer suite to enable you to build your own stand alone market and NFT systems.
TNE-Music is going to be a decentralized web3 streaming platform.

Thank you @IgbozeIsrael i have updated the proposal with comments and response from councils also the funding is for the team compensation for their hard work on achieving the milestone.

Thank you for your proposal and your team’s commitment to building a community-based project.

-You will need experienced devs to build what you propose due to the complexity of the architecture of building a music player, especially If we look at the limitations of BOS itself, and your demo and presented MVP need to be improved, I will suggest two things:
1- Colab with build-dao to establish a solid foundation and proper direction for what you are trying to build.
2- Make it available to community devs as an activity to build in public where everyone can contribute, including UI/UX people

I will not support your request for project funds at this time, i will reconsider when you present something viable next round

For community engagement, try restructuring your proposal and outlining clear deliverables and engagements. Too much emphasis is placed on your social media growth rather than ecosystem dapps or core value.

Please work on it.

hello @Bakaka thank you for your response, must say our developers are up to the task and has been receiving support from senior developers’ line james from devhub, zubair from near hausa and we also discussing with Codeplug from Banya and victor from devhub on how their contributions can make the product better on BOS. Also will love to highlight that we are now building outside BOS and just 20% of the project will be on BOS for easy integration.

Also the project is open source as we have moved all coding to our github to allow other developers that would love to contribute to give their input we are also reaching out to Harmonic guild and everything dev for partnership to further enhance this product
