[PROPOSAL] Aug 2022 Sponsorship for WEB3 Conf to represent NEAR and NEAR Indian Projects.
Web3Conf India is a community-led not-for-profit initiative by Web3 Meetup India group and allies to create awareness about web3. The conference will give a platform to showcase Indian talent and projects to the world and collaborate together to build the future of the internet. (https://web3confindia.xyz/)

Our idea is to Sponsor a booth at Web3conf India. There will be an opportunity to network and onboard people into the NEAR ecosystem and we will be able to directly interact with all the attendees and educate the Indian community about the NEAR Ecosystem and its opportunities.
From the experience of Namaste NFT event, we realised that there is a lot of potential and growth for the NEAR ecosystem in India, and we feel that these IRL events are a great way to approach the web3 community in India to create awareness about the NEAR Ecosystem.
Through the booth, we will be representing NEAR and our respective projects at the event, where we are aiming to onboard people into our community simultaneously.
The expected projects to be present at the event are Naksh, Goa Dao, Kalakendra Dao, Near NFT Club, at the moment. Open to collaborating with any other project in the ecosystem who are looking to target the Indian Community.
The event will host people from multiple backgrounds, starting from artists to collectors, Developers to designers. It’s a great opportunity to get builders onboarded to the NEAR Community.
Expected impact and value you foresee for the NEAR ecosystem/community - The Conference is going to host at least 800 - 1000 IRL attendees, Which means educating 1000+ Indians about the NEAR ecosystem.
Metrics for measuring success - Onboarding users to the NEAR Community, Educating the Indian Community about NEAR and Opening NEAR wallets for at least 40% of the attending population.
Estimated timeline and achievement milestones - The event will happen from August - 12-to 14 August. It’s a 3 day IRL event which is going to host multiple communities from India and protocols across the globe.
Funding Details: Sponsorship for a booth for a 3-day conference in GOA, India for 3500 USD - 3000$ for the booth, 500$ buffer ,market volatility
